750ml bottle poured into a Casey tulip.
A~ hazy glowing yellow with a huge fluffy white head and a lot of lacing.
S~ brett and citrus!!! wooo! followed by dank grass and tons of tropical fruits.
T~ barnyard brett funk up front followed by tons of citrus, lemon, lime, guava, and grapefruit rushing your pallet. finishes with amazing grassy hops and peppery saison yeast.
M~ a bit dry but super refreshing! decent carb and silky smooth
O~ way better than the first version and i don't even like citra as much as most people haha! i could seriously drink this all summer/fall!

Dorothy is the first hill farmstead beer I haven't been truly enamored with. Good, but just doesn't quite know what it wants to be. Not quite a pale, not quite a farmhouse, and just doesn't quite satisfy my thirst for either. Still very good I just wished it leaned a little further to one side or the other on the range from pale to farmhouse.

Had at the Hill Farmstead brewery on Saturday, 9/26, poured into a wine glass. Pours a slightly hazy straw color with a decent white head that retains. Nice sweet and funky aroma on this, slightly tart. Great flavor profile here, definitely a winner at the brewery today. Nice sweetness and dough up front, yeast and funk touch in the middle isn't over powering. Slight tartness at the end with some residual funk taste in the mouth. Light body with solid carbonation, refreshing, yet tasty enough to savor. All around a great benchmark for the US farmhouse style. Hard to beat!
