375ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass.

A~ glowing lemonade! ohhhhh! TINY head and a little lacing.

S~ awesome funk!! sooo bright and i already get the Florence and Anna! honey and tangy wheat followed by a lot of lemony tartness.

T~ ohhhhhhh yesss! so much honey! follows the nose with tangy wheat mid pallet and crazy barnyard lemony tartness on the back end that just lingers for days!!

M~ a little thick from all that honey but otherwise pretty dry with great carb.

O~ don't know if it was just the mood i was in or my love for honey but this seriously might be my favorite of the series!! yes i know i've said this before haha! this Anna and Florence (or should i say Ann and Flora) cuvee is just over the top! this will probably age very nicely as well.

(l) - looks like a standard pale straw ale

(S) - aroma of limes, basement funk, wet hay and, orange peel

(t) - medium citrus zing upfront, juicy and moderately tart ( kiwi like), finish of funk and damp basement

(F) - stylistically light in body, crisp

(O) - Fantastic blend work by Shaun. Another offering showing why he is one of the best Brewers in not only NE but the world.

Thanks Kegatron for sharing this one with us. Into a matching HF wine glass, it appears a clear golden color with a thin film of white bubbles stretched across the top.

This smells all sorts of vinous and lactic with hints of yogurt, cheesiness, oak and fruity qualities.

It tastes tart and fruity to vinous with noticeable oak and sour aspects before more mild oak tannins. The finish is a different mixture of vanilla and greek yogurt.

This is medium in body with modest carbonation. Effortlessly crushable with significant barrel qualities and enjoyable vinous character. For the most part I dont understand the Hill Farmstead diehard fans but this is the type of beer that could make me into a believer...maybe.

I've been fortunate to try several of the Civil Disobedience blends. All are unique and all always seem to hit the mark. Nice level of carbonation, color is spot on, and the taste is unbelievable. If you like Anna and Florence then you will no doubt love the blending and what the barrel aging adds to this beer. Another great blend from Hill Farmstead

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Clear golden body with almost no head. Heavy white wine aroma. Oak. Wheat. A little floral. Tastes citrusy up front with an aggressive wheat graininess. Sweet white wine and oak round it out. Medium body. Heavy on the wine with low carbonation. Delicious, but maybe a touch heavy on the white wine.

Look is a cloudy golden orange with no head.

Aroma is sour vinegar like from a white wine with a slight malt sweetness.

Taste is less sour than I expected, but it has light wine barrel notes with a definite malt presence.

Excellent barrel aged beer.
