On tap at Hill Farmstead in Greensboro Bend, VT.

This one pours a nice hazy-ish orange color, with a small fluffy head, and a good amount of lacing.

Smells pretty crisp and fruity, there's some melon and mango, with some grassiness.

This is nice, because it manages to compress some classic Hill Farmstead hop character, but still feel pretty much like a lager throughout drinking it. There's a distinctively fruity lager finish, with a big hop blast layered on top- grapefruit, melon, and mango, mostly, with some light grainy pilsner malt type character.

This is lighter bodied, with a very crisp mouthfeel.

This is very good, and nice changeup to the usual feel for HF hoppy beers.

750 mL growler. Hazy bright golden body. Tropical hops and some grassiness. Faint pilsner malt. Taste has a much stronger malt flavor. Sharp German malt spiciness. Tropical fruits and a bit of sweetness. Grassy bitter finish. Crisp with a medium light body. Well carbonated. This isn't the freshest growler, but it still tasted great. I don't get the comparisons to Mary that other people have mentioned, though.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal clear golden straw hue with a nice one finger head that fades to leave nice lacing.

S - Aromas of loads of Nelson, nice light pilsner notes, faint grassy notes. Good nice tropical notes, solid mango, pineapple, maybe a little peach. Very aromatic.

T - Taste is yet again loads of Nelson, tons of tropical notes, nice almost wine like notes, nice melon rind as well, good light grains, soft biscuits, nice light lagers. Nice I'm guessing noble hops too after the Nelson. The malts are nice.

M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, crisp, clean.

O - Overall this beer is way more deserving of bigger numbers. Very well done ipl. Great Nelson notes. Wonder why Shaun did an ipl though...

On tap at brewery 7/28/18.

Nice yeasty and malty nose with grassy and citrus features from the hopping. Taste about the same, nice and clean, easy to drink. Always said the water at HF makes a big difference. Very solid lager, look out Jack's Abby!

This tastes like Mary with some extra hops in it. The classic pilsner flavor is in the forefront. It's light and delicious but I feel Jack's Abby Hoponius Union is better. Still, it's good.
