750ml growler poured into a snifter.

A~ really light yellow with a slight white head and no lacing.

S~ lots of fresh cut grass (not really my thing) dank earth and lots of citrus. mostly grapefruit and tangerine.

T~ more fresh cut grass meh... otherwise follows the nose and not much else...

M~ nice carb. refreshing and smooth!

O~ i can see how this could be an Edward/Hophands kind of hybrid but it doesn't really work that well... i've always loved Edward but Hophands can be off from time to time. i've also had batches that have been straight fresh cut grass... so i'm gonna blame it on that haha! oh and the hops! =]

750 mL bottle. Pale orange body. Smells of orange and grapefruit peel. Very light grain profile. Taste is equally strong grapefruit and orange peel. Low sweetness with a strong hop bitterness. Light body and well carbonation. Pretty tasty. Tastes like two distinct beers. Hill Farmstead pale ale up front and then the intense citrus and light grain is characteristic of Tired Hands.

The appearance was a glossy to burnt semi-hazy bronzed orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that quickly dissipated. Light lacing. The smell started off with sweet dried grassy hops flowing into a dried floral and a crisp sweet malt. A sly amount of citrus and tropical fruit slide in underneath. The flavor takes the previously mentioned flavors and blends but mainly leans towards the sweeter side. Malty to juicy aftertaste with a nice smooth finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation seems to ride nicely underneath. Overall, it’s a pretty good APA that I would be willing to come back to. Could definitely go well with some grilled seafood.
