750ml growler poured into a snifter.

A~ glowing copper/orange with a slight head and no lacing.

S~ really dank and earthy up front. followed by some guava and passionfruit. all ending in a unique sweetness.

T~ more orange like here with some herbal presence and black pepper. of course the dank hops follow through and balance it out a bit. still extremely sweet but it works.

M~ smooth with nice carb. but a little clawing...

O~ just as good as the other heavy hitter S&S's but somewhat the same as 5 and 7. (with different hops of course!) i was told this is suppose to be an imperial version of Sumner, which is totally possible! it definitely drinks that way and the hops are all there! would smash again!

This one pours a fairly hazy sharp orange, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like mango, sweet grapefruit, honey, peach, wheat, and grass.

It's almost dumb how good this is. It's super juicy and fresh- with peach, mango, and grapefruit, mainy, and a bit of green dank grassy flavors, and the tiniest bit of pale malt. It all goes down so easily.

This is medium bodied, creamy and light on the palate, with a good level of carbonation.

This is up there with the best of this series. This series hasn't failed me yet.

Disclaimer: It's hard not to wax poetic about these beers when you're drinking them staring at the green mountains in fall, so apologies ahead of time.

A: A beautiful golden haze. Opaque, but still golden and bright. Typical of Hill Farmstead, but amazing nonetheless. Doesn't have that suspended particulate look like Trillium/bissell/treehouse etc. Sunshine in a glass.

S: Oh my goodness. I may have spent more time smelling this beer than tasting. Floral, honey, just super earthy.

T: Very dank, very juicy. Apricot maybe..fresh herbs like parsley...black pepper. Fucking ambrosia. Slightly chalky in texture which is a bit of a surprise for Hill Farmstead.

O: I had a 2L love affair with this beer. Like I said, I may have spent more time with my nose in the glass than drinking it. This beer really delivered on all levels. This would have been one of my favorite fresh HF's along with Susan and double Citra but the texture threw it off just slightly. At the level this brewery produces I'm just splitting hairs. If I could have this every day I would. Simcoe, citra, mosaic? Sign me up.

In a tulip the beer was a hazy gold color with a moderate off-white head. There was a good deal of lace.
Pine an citrus aroma. Sweet malt.
Mostly pine in the taste. Some grapefruit and lemon. Toast.
Very smooth.

On tap at The Well Brooklyn. Poured a completely cloudy orange color with a good amount of frothy head. The nose was wonderful, a mixture of citrus with grapefruit playing a key role before you get some mild floral piney notes. The flavor is an amazing balance of bitterness to citrus, tropical fruit sweetness. You get pine and flowers mixed with grapefruit and mango. The feel is thick and smooth just as the appearance would suggest. This is my first Hill Farmstead and I'm completely blown away!

Just shared a growler I picked up yesterday with a friend. Amazingly nice beer. I will not try to put this into the five categories and just say drink it if you get a chance and make up your own mind. I, personally, would be very happy if this was the last beer I ever drank

750 mL growler. Very hazy orange body. Smells of tropical fruits and some citrus. I can smell oats, but not wheat. Tastes very creamy with an orange hop flavor. Sweet pale malt. Light hop bite and a lingering oat flavor. Medium heavy. Big IPA. The oats are strong. Makes for a distinct profile.
