Draft and growler.

A little heavier on haze and cloudiness than most HF IPAs. Golden light orange color, creamy white dense head. Tropical, white grape, light pine, Nelson, grass light spice on nose. Nelson and Amarillo are a great combo on body, creamy and smooth with layers of tropical guava and white grape, leafy and grassy, honeydew and melon, and straw. Bright, balanced, juicy, distinctly a HF IPA though dressing up as a juicier/trendier version of one more so than usual.

12 oz can poured into a willybecher glass, canned on 9/24.

A: Small eighth of an inch head of tiny white bubbles that dissolves to a ring. Body is a murky vomit color.

S: Lots of passionfruit and grape upfront a little pineapple and orange on the back.

T: tastes aren’t really well defined some bitter with some pithy grapefruit and pineapple in the after taste. Mostly up front you get a slightly watery juicy fruity taste.

M: medium bodied lightly carbonation a little watery.

O: it’s an ok beer taste is muddled not much depth or anything.

A 12 fl. oz. can, canned on 24th September 2018 with a drink by date of 5th November 2018. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A murky hazy dark orange colour with a two finger white head that had great retention and left lots of nice fluffy lacing.

Aroma: Tropical mango, peach, apricot, guava, some citrus orange, grapefruit, and resinous pine.

Taste: Fruity, tropical and citrus. Mango, peach, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, with hints of pine. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Great aroma and flavours with lots of tropical and citrus fruit.

750ml growler poured into a Hill Farmstead taster.

A~ light orange with a small white fluffy head and a lot of lacing.

S~ tons of orange and tangerine! whoa!! slight earthy pine, dank hops, and back around to a lot of citrus!

T~ i didn't think it was possible but theres more citrus going on here!! crazy tangerine and dank hops! lots of Nelson. i can't complain!

M~ extremely smooth, nice carb and refreshing.

O~ i'm sure i've said this before but i seriously think this is my new favorite of the series! the strong tangerine presence really makes this unique and delicious! HF is back on their hop game!! ahh i shouldn't say that... they always kill anything with Nelson!

12oz can, about one and a half weeks old, poured into a Hill Farmstead stemmed glass. Pours a fairly cloudy medium yellow body, slight orange hue, one and half finger frothy white head, good retention, plenty of lacing. Smell is tropical fruit, a bit of sweet vinous character, touch of spicy Nelson, grapefruit, a mild caramel sweetness, light grainy cereal, minerals, floral and grassy. Really complex aroma, that follows through on the palate, with a mild-moderate caramel malt backbone which perfectly supplements the big and different hop presence and aromatics as detailed on the aroma. Really nice and hop-forward, with a reasonably balanced bitter spice, floral and resin notes. Medium bodied, creamy, good carbonation, mild bitterness with an easy drinkability for a double IPA. Hill Farmstead IPAs, in this day and age, perfectly straddle the extremes of hazy juice and the more conventional, bitter hoppy ales. Slightly skewed towards the former, of course, but perfectly situated in between. Love it, especially in this packaging.

Very smooth. Pillowy soft body. White grape and light citrus notes on the nose. Balanced sweetness with only a hint of bitterness on the back end. Easy drinking DIPA.
