375 mL bottle. Just a little hazy golden. Has a slight tinge of color. Smells of plum, oak, strong acidity, and a little white wine. Tastes very plummy. Tart plums. Oak. Strong tartness. A little wine. Just a bit of that grainy Arthur character. Low carbonation. Medium body. Almost masks the Art complexity, but even if the plum is strong, all the flavors are still there. Had this a couple times. With yeast, it smells and tastes like rubber. Very clean without it, so pour carefully.

Had onsite at Hill in a share. So so smooth and soft on the tongue, unmistakeable hill farm class. Light dusty rose color with some earth tone, and modest bubbly head that dissipates quickly. The nose is so floral and plum, as is the taste, undeniable plum. So wonderful!

375ml bottle poured at the brewery.

Slight haze, reddish tinted straw. Thick foamy head that settles slowly.

Aroma of sweet tart plums, some citrus zest and a hint of wood.

Tart, clean, and slightly sweet fruit flavor. Tart unripe plum, sour cherry and some woody barrel.

Soft, crisp, refreshing mouthfeel.

Excellent flavor and excellent overall. Refined flavors.

Served for onsite consumption at Hill Farmstead.

Pours a glowing hazy orange body with maroon tint.

Aromas are out of this world.. delicate aromas of stone fruit and tart citrus, light funk and oak.

On the tongue it's pretty tart, stone fruits and citrus, funky, a light grassyness on the follow through. Finish is dry with a hint of oak. Super easy to drink, lightly carbonated and crisp.

A true masterpiece, glad I got to try this.

375ml bottle, poured into a Hill Farmstead oversized wine glass. Enjoyed on 4.6.17, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a bright salmon color, peach hues, lightly hazy and somewhat lifeless with a very minimal amount of foamy white head, moderate retention and spots of lace. The aroma is nice, tart plum, light stone fruits, pitty, moderate funk, mineral water, red wine like acidity with soft oak. The flavors are good, very tart plums with some other stone fruit flavors, definitely getting a lot of peach pit flavor with some vinous acidity, mineral water, subtle funk, smooth woody oak, a bit of lemon zest and some soft pale grain. The mouthfeel is lacking, this beer definitely needs carbonation. It coats the tongue well, but the medium body needs to be propped up with more carbonation, more bubbles, it feels dull and lifeless and almost syrupy with a tart finish.

Verdict: A nice fruited take on Art from Hill Farmstead. Short of the poor body, this beer is quite nice. Bright, delicate, refreshing, nicely developed funk, good stuff. It's not quite the Plum Flora variant, but with a bit more carbonation and a bit more Art presence, this could be a top notch beer.

375ml bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead taster.

A~ glowing light orange with a tiny white head and no lacing.

S~ lemony and a little acidic at first that went away pretty quickly as it aired out a bit. barnyard, hay, brett, and wine barrel funk up front followed by a rush of plums along with the seeds and skin. black/white pepper on the end. aroma builds as it warms.

T~ not acidic here! but more of a lemony lime tartness which mixes nicely with the plums. otherwise follows the nose with all around amazing plum flavor! its like really eating a plum, you can almost feel it! also very interesting how you get the funk up front and the fruit sweetness on the backend. delicious after taste for daysssss!!!!

M~ smooth with great carb! refreshing!

O~ wow! just wow! definitely my favorite Arthur iteration. but it is definitely more in your face than Art, doesn't contribute the same soft and delicate mouth feel as even Arthur Puncheon. but the fruit is perfect! seriously amazing all around!
