750ml growler poured into a Other Half pint like glass.

A~ orange/copper creamsicle colored, nice big fluffy head and a ton of lacing.

S~ earthy up front with grass and sticks. rushing in with some burnt oranges and other citrus maybe guava and papaya. hmm...

T~ follows the nose for the most part. citrus fruit up front with more grapefruit here followed by a rush of bitter earth/woodyness. the burnt orange still lingers.

M~ really nice feel, juicy, creamy, nice carb and smoooooth!

O~ another very nice IPA! definitely more bitter than most of their IPA's but if thats your sort of thing you'll love this! more of a west coast ipa meets new england style hybrid. mmm....!

On tap at Three Penny Taproom, Montpelier, VT.
The appearance was a rusty burnt orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light lace.
The aroma had a nice intake of sweet pulpy oranges, grassy hop bitterness, light mango and then a light fulfilling spreading sort of lime coming in underneath.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a nice little zing from the lime and even coming from the orange, just a little bit. Nice mobile orange to lime and mango sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt appropriate. Nice acceptable bitterness with some zing/zest in the finish.
Overall, really nice AIPA that I'd come back to.

awesome looking brew, typical HF appearance. nicely aromatic on the nose, matched on palate with pithy grapefruit and orange, peach, bubblegum sweetness, some earthy dankness and mellow white grape notes, herbaceous character, bready malts and a hit of pine on the finish round this one out. insanely pithy, clean, well balanced and crushable... great offering!

Poured from 12 ounce can.

L- A lighter orange with a smallish white head. A nice hue of orange.

S- I smell some fruit, but it's not overpowering. It's a nice, pleasant smell.

T- Delicious citrus taste. I notice grapefruit the most. The aftertaste is soft and not at all bitter.

F- Such a soft feel. Smooth and very easy to drink.

Overall a very tasty beer I loved from the first sip.

750 mL growler. Hazy orange. Smells of tangerine and a little resin. Tastes of grapefruit, bright tangerine, a little garlic. Pungent hop profile. Slight sweet pale malt and some grain. Moderate grapefruit bitterness. Medium body. Soft carbonation. It's a pungent and flavorful IPA, without every being abrasive. Delicious.

Simcoe/Amarillo/Galaxy? Drooling already.

This one pours a soft peachy looking orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This has that classic soft fruity HF smell- very melony, peach, and pineapple galore- with a dank grassiness.

Hill Farmstead hops are basically better than all other hops. This is so soft and fruity, with a zesty soft grassy bitterness on the finish, slightly piney, a bit floral, and so fruity- melon/grapefruit/pineapple/stonefruit/etc. It's not quite top tier for their hoppy goodness, but it's HF, it's good, you know this.

This is soft, like drinking a cloud, with a good level of carbonation.

I'm basically a sucker for this brewery.
