750ml bottle poured into a tulip

A- pours s hazy golden yellow with a one-finger foamy white head that has short retention

S- plenty of barnyard funk, as well as dried hay, lemon peel, ripe pear, green apple skin, slightly grassy, peppery yeast

T- slightly tart and funky with some barnyard notes that follow the nose, dried hay and lemon notes follow, as well as pear and green melon. The finish gives more funk, as well as more lemon and yeast

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

O- earthy with just enough funk, it too tart, good stuff

2017 vintage. Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Cloudy golden pour with massive fluffy white head. Overflowed the bottle during the pour.

S: Tart and yeasty... some funk and spice.

T.F: Some sweet grains up front... strong yeast presence. Tart grapefruit, citrus, lemongrass, pepper and spice, barnyard/funk, peach and pear, grape must... loads of flavors going on here. Super well balanced. Creamy carbonation... champagne-like.

O: An outstanding Hill Farmstead brew. An annoying pour (overflowing bottle and head that wouldn't quit) but just a delicious brew. These guys are the best.

Bottled 8/8/17. Pouring from a 750 into a tulip glass. Looks like a lemonhead in color. Had to pour very slowly after noticing the crown that was forming. Then I just stopped the pour about 4 oz.s in. Smelled it, took two drinks and looked at the bottle and it's oozing out. It won't stop, and I don't have any alka seltzer. This is frustrating. What I did taste was great, tart and flavorful with a bubbly mouthfeel. But this sucks, and I'm going on ten minutes now with it flowing out of the bottle. After the about 10 minutes, it stopped and I didn't even try a repour. Just drinking from the bottle. Beautiful earthy straw notes and bubbly mouthfeel. Overall, wish it wasn't an oozer but it was still very good.

Picked up a bottle two months ago, stored appropriately since. Minor/ manageable gushing upon opening.

Cloudy (which eventually turned to turbid by the last pour) lemony yellow hue with a outsized puffy white head.

Aroma is lemon, tart green apple, grapefruit and a light kiss of brett- funk.

Citrus forward taste with lots of lemon, pink grapefruit and persimmon.

Tart, light funk, balanced, dry. Nice sipper. In hindsight I should have rolled the bottle a bit before opening to spread the sediment - that last pour was
NE IPA-like.

I'm not sure how to rate this one. I was told that it's a 2017 (there is nothing on the label that tells me the vintage) but judging by the degree of brett and lack of hoppiness, I'd say that it's either an older vintage or one that was not stired properly. It pours a lovely bright lemondrop yellow with a huge head. The aroma is overtaken by brett with some citrusy tartness. The taste is harshly bitter with more brett and a lingering tartness.

Pours a cloudy bright lemon color. Big funky citrus aroma. Tangy and semi sweet, very funky ale, grassy, lemon, grapefruit. Extremely carbonated. I opend the bottle and it overflowed immediately. I poured a glass and it still overflowed. Overall this is not my favorite style but I enjoyed it very much.
