Notes: This batch was blended and packaged in February 2018, woven from several unique threads—including wine barrel-aged Dorothy; puncheon-aged Anna; an experimental Farmstead® ale featuring Perle hops; and nearly 14-month-old wine barrel-aged Brother Soigné.

750ml capped bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter. Shared with schen9303.

Looks simply divine. Crystal clear goldenrod with a big, white, fluffy head that sticks around. Nose is metal, cobwebs, a touch of cheesiness, and peppercorn. Decent but pretty muted compared to other offerings from HF. Beer opens pear and lemon zest tartness. Notes of clove, coriander, and peppercorn in the middle. A touch of oak lingers in the back along with an unusual amount of acidity for a Hill Farmstead sour. More lemon tartness in the end along with a cobweb, hay, and wet wood funk. A touch of butteriness is apparent in the aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down aggressive at the start with a tart finish and a lingering aftertaste. Super drinkable.

Still a really good beer but this pales in comparison to some of their other offerings in the style.

Poured from a 750mL bottle into a hull farmstead bulb glass.

Pours a straw body with a frothy white head that reduces to leave spotty lacing.

Aromas of citrus and barnyard funk, green apple, tart overripe stone fruit, pineapple, old hops.

On the tongue I get wheat, fruity, tart citrus, Tons of oak, musty basement, lightly bitter hops on the follow through, barnyard funk and lightly sweet aftertaste. More oak on the finish. Beautifully delicate flavors and easy drinking body with low carbonation.

I really enjoyed this one - comparable to the more well known HF saisons IMO.

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like pineapple-y hops, citrusy hops, some oak spice, white wine, and some grassiness.

Dorothy seems to leading the way here, as a pineapple-y and citrusy hop thing is very present. I can imagine this will age well and interestingly. I get some oak, spice, and even a touch of vanilla, along with passionfruit and orange-like acidity, and some grassy and field-like funk.

This is light bodied, soft, and pillowy, with a great drinkability to it.

I wish I had more of this, as I can tell it will develop in an intriguing way over time.
