Florence (1915-1967) was our grandfather’s sister, and Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to her and her 13 siblings. In her honor, this Belgian inspired Wheat ale is crafted from American malted barley, Organic Vermont wheat, European and American hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. It is unfiltered and naturally carbonated. Soft, cloudy, and fresh, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Florence.
Pale Malt; Vermont Organic Wheat; American and European Hops; Ale Yeast, and our Well Water.

750ml capped bottle into a Tree House teku. Shared with schen9303.
Pours a pale, semi-hazy goldenrod. Foamy 2 finger white head. Thick and web-like lace. Nose is lemon zest, white grape, sweet cobweb, and a lightly tart cane sugar. Aromatic prickly, lively. Beer opens light lemon, a touch of unripened pear, some green apple. Light yeastiness in the middle mixed with coriander. Lemon and lime in the end and aftertaste. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down bone dry with a mellow puckering aftertaste.
Fantastic.

I had this on draft 6/12/23 @ the Hopleaf.
Cloudy orange appearance.
Nice white head; strong, frothy lace remained.
Lemon, ash, oak & soft wheat notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Mild tart lemon & soft wheat flavors up front raw oak notes on the finish.
8oz is just about perfect; more is a touch taxing but still enjoyable.

Pours a very light straw yellow from the bottle, light 1" head that falls out to a coaster of foam, lots of active carbonation. Nose is super doughy with bright lemon juice and peel, as well as fresh cut grass. Taste is pleasantly tart and lemony, but not at all bracing - a notch or two below a good key lime pie. Dough, wheat, and fresh baked bread lurk under the surface, but only a background note. Reminds of a gose minus the salty brackishness and any added flavor. Feel is crisp, light, and clean. A very nice, tart, refreshing beer.

From a 0.5L bottle, pours a slightly cloudy light straw. Bright white head of fine bubbles leaves scattered lacing. Smell is earthy and grassy, with a touch of barnyard funk and tart citrus. Taste follows. Lightly tart. Lovely beer.

On tap at Sabatinis in Exeter pa this evening.
Looks nice enough. Pale straw yellow body with a small white head. This shrinks to a ring leaving scattered lacing.
Light fruity aroma.
On tasting, drying, tart, sour, with a lot of fruitiness.
Mouth medium, finish drying and tart.
Overall, a great beer at the end of a day moving beer around.

Had a single draft at Hill Farmstead Brewery in Greensboro Bend, Vermont for about twelve dollars (2019 vintage). My twelfth brew from these guys. Did not love this, very sour.
