Dark brown color where light passes only along the edge. Great lacing on the glass, lots of large spots which interconnect in many place.

Mildly smoky nose with some near-burnt toast aromas.

Dry and hoppy with some black patent malt flavors as the the initial impression. A bit of chalkiness. Reminds me of black coffee. Leans rich but with decent carbonation. Long coffee ground-like aftertaste.
