Pours an opaque dirty orange. Basically no head, but was poured from a growler

Grapefruit is the dominant smell, but lots of tropical fruit as well. A bit on the sweeter side. More guava and mango, not a lot of citrus or pine.

Malt is has a more substantial presence than I expected...the cracker keeps the hops reigned in a bit. Citrus is more prevalent in the taste.

Soft mouthfeel, a bit chalky, light carbonation. Really no bitterness

Look: Poured from a 750ml Growler filled at the brewery into a tulip glass. Pours a cloudy golden, orange color and is for all intents and purposes opaque. Virtually nonexistent head, and leaves characteristic lace around the glass. Exactly what I look for in a good DIPA.

Smell: Very fruity notes. I get orange peel and grapefruit with mild piney notes which hide under the immediate burst of citrus. After first opening the bottle, you get a good burst of the malt backbone this beer provides which is a nice balance for this world class beer. I just want to crawl inside the bottle and live in here.

Taste: Phenomenal taste which starts with orange peels, lemon, and grapefruit which finishes with light hoppy notes such as pine and tart. The malt profile offers a delicious balance, and there is virtually no astringency you get from other 8% DIPAs on the market. This beer leaves a delicious resinous aftertaste of a good hoppy beer.

Feel: Light carbonation which easily flows over the palate and offers a delicious way to spread the flavor of this beer.
like true fashion of most world class DIPAs the finish is perfect and your mouth is left feeling refresh and tart.

Overall: This is a delicious beer and rivals as one of my favorite beers, if you can get your hands on this gem I highly suggest you make the trip to the brewery (Practically in the middle of nowhere in rural Vermont). Part of the attraction this beer provides is how it is not readily available, and you can only bring this beer home from the brewery.

Cheers!
