750 mL growler poured into a Teku snifter.
Appearance - Hazy orange body. Not much of a head. Nice surface wisps. Leggy on the swirl.
Smell - Surprise, lots of citra. Orange and grapefruit. A bit of sweetness.
Taste - Lots of grapefruit, orange. Straightforward. Moderate sweetness. Just a hint of bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium low carbonation. Slick, but low sweetness.
Overall - Very simple flavor, but great hop flavor. I definitely prefer Double Galaxy to this, though.

Ripe mango, orange, dank, grapefruit. Sweet candy taste, with dry and bitter finish. Low-medium, but smooth bitterness. Medium dankness. Zesty orange.
Typical citra, but very well-made. Refreshing, easy drinking. Velvety, juice mouthfeel. 4,5 month old.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium white head. Nice lacing. Nose is oranges and mangos. Taste is herbal and citrus. Mild bitterness on back of palate.
Could use more citrus on taste and more bitterness IMO. Still a very good beer.

Pours an opaque yellow orange, small quarter-inch head formation, good lacing. Nose has a mix of deeper tropical notes (mango, mandarin orange) and some pinier, danker notes. There's a bit of menthol and diesel as well, so there's a good amount of balance here. Taste is dried grapefruit, dried orange peel, pineapple juice, but also some grain and even light booziness as it warms. Resinous and slick on the finish with a very soft mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Overall, this was certainly impressive, but it falls a little short of truly great for my taste.

Served in a full clear pint glass, drawn from a tap, it arrived with a proper off-white head no more than a half-inch thick. It's the color of a dark golden oak wood stain. It's hazy but not particularly dull. The aroma is hops and malt that somehow has a citrus reference, closest to grapefruit. That's just about how it tastes. There's just enough malt to add a good counterbalance, yet not make it too sweet, nor earthy. The hops bite, but not harshly, even during the finish. Yes, there is a citrusy aspect, but that's only a reference. It's actually more complex than that, as it's not just sharp like lemon or grapefruit. The alcohol is well integrated into the overall taste. The mouthfeel is nearly perfect for the style, as witnessed by the lovely stratified glass lacing. OK, the tight head didn't make it to the finish, which didn't take long to complete. Really, there's nothing wrong with this beer.

On tap at Sabatinis in Exeter pa late this afternoon.
Slightly hazy yellow body with a persistent white head. Broken rings of lacing. Aroma is delightfully fresh citrus. On tasting, citra hops of course. Clean, sweet and bitter.
I never cease to be amazed by the quality of the finish of HF beers. A slow progression of sweet to citra hoppy to bitter to warming. Delightful
Overall, another fantastic HF beer. Some day, I hope to visit the brewery to thank them for all this enjoyment

Just another amazing double IPA from Hill Farmstead. Such amazing soft mouth feel that sets up the banquet of Citra hops. Just a great experience. Love the flocky hazy particulate to this particular beer, I hop to get this again soon.
