Happy to be able to give this one a try on tap at The Farmhouse Tap and grill in Burlington Vt.

Pours a cloudy dull golden shade of lighter amber. The off white head leaves well developed fine lacing behind on the glass.

Citrus nose with whiffs of fresh oranges, lemon and melon. Nice..

Fruity flavors o'plenty, crisp and dry with more and more grapefruit notes shimmering upon the palate. Quality and very tasty IPA...More please...

A: Lovely golden orange, softly hazy color and a big white foamy head about 3 fingers high. Head fades in reasonable time to a bubbly 1/4 inch. Big splotchy lace on the glass.

S: Aroma is like opening a bag of Amarillo hop pellets. Very nice. Perhaps a little bit more soft and delicate than that. Aromas are sweet and juicy. Tangerine is big. Some grass, buttered biscuits... Very simple, clean, upfront, and fresh. Super nicely balanced.

T: Taste is loaded with flavor. Sweet, bold, and fruity. Bright tangerine and lemon explosion in your mouth. Nice biscuit like malts again. Very well balanced somehow with the huge amounts of hops. CITRUS.

M: Chewy, clingy and all sorts of swirlable. Carbonation is right on.

O: This is pretty fantastic!

750 mL growler poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Pale hazy orange. Huge white head. Laces nicely and retains a thin layer of surface foam.

Smell - Orangey hops. A bit of grapefruit. Smells like a sweet freshly cut orange though. Slight bit of pale malt.

Taste - Really orangey. Slight sweetness. Pale malt and a ton of graininess. There's a little bit of a weird flavor in the very back, but it's so slight I'm not really sure it's the beer or my imagination.

Mouthfeel - Light, grainy, with a false sweetness. Fades quickly to a grainy and light bitterness.

Overall - The hop is good, but one dimensional. Doesn't live up to the other single hop pales from Hill Farmstead.

On tap at the Reservoir, Waterbury, VT. This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy semi-burnt orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated evenly and at a nice pace. Light semi-foamy lacing ran around the sides of the glass nicely. The smell took on some sweet onion and then rolled into the dank sweet to juicy danky grassiness. Slight floral qualities slide in underneath. The taste was pretty much the same as the smell with a nice danky sweet onion aftertaste running into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly nice sessionable quality about it. Carbonation runs fairly light. Danky juiciness smooths out over my tongue. Overall, I’d say this was a pretty nice APA that I would have again.
