750ml growler poured into a Three Floyds Teku.

A~ glowing light orange, with a nice fluffy white head and a lot of lacing.

S~ tons of citrus and pine. mostly lemons and grapefruit, not too much going on here.

T~ pretty follows the nose, very well balanced but nothing more then the citrus, pine and hop bitterness.

M~ thick, but smooth. feels imperial haha! nice carbonation of course and a tad dry.

O~ not a bad DIPA but definitely not my favorite, i tend to like a lot more complexity. still very drinkable and slightly messing me up on this fine summer day!

Growler poured into a Hill Farmstead wine glass.

Pour: Hazy orange with a finger and a half of white. foamy head. Lots of sticky lacing through out the glass.

Smell: A big burst of pine and floral hops. Some citrus fruits in there as well. This beer has the most malt driven nose of the Society series beers I've had yet. Finishes lightly resinous.

Taste: Follows the nose with some resinous pine, grass, and orange pulp. The middle is rather malty, at least for a Hill Farmstead beer - some caramel, raw dough, and oats. The finish is bitter with pine and citrus.

Mouthfeel: Pretty bitter, at least more so than I expected. Medium to full bodied. Finishes bitter, with a lingering doughy sweetness and some pine resin.

Overall: Easily my least favorite of the Society series, but still a superb DIPA.

Poured from a 750ml growler into a tulip glass.

A- pours a hazy, golden orange with about a fingers worth of creamy white head. Pretty decent lacing.

S- I picked up a lot of fruit type scent in this one. Really picked up citrus, mango and pine which I expected. Then I caught traces of pineapple which I thought was weird and a little bit of a peach notes. Little hops smell but not as dank as I was expecting.

T- really big scent of lemon and orange peel. A little tropical taste of mangoes in there as well. Really earthy taste with very very little bitterness. Defintely not a hop bomb. Very well balanced.

M- dry finish that leaves the mouth with a citrus, bitter aftertaste.

O- This a really great, delicious beer. Well balanced and juicy. Very easy to drink and very smooth. Kind of a light tasting beer, not heavy at all. Really love this beer and hope to have it again in the future.
