On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, served in a Hill Farmstead stem.
Pour: Big hazy yellow body with three fingers of foamy bright white head. Leaves some really excellent lacing.
Smell: Really huge lemon juice up front, follows by some more citrus hoppiness. A very distinct bready sweetness comes through.
Taste: Again, lemon juice off the bat, and is balance by more of that bready sweetness. Pretty two dimensional. Finishes with an almost lager like quality
Mouthfeel: Needless to say, this beer is absurdly drinkable. It begs for summer weather.
Overall: A really interesting and delicious experimental blonde from Hill Farmstead. Better suited for the summer, but great nonetheless.

750 mL growler poured into a snifter. Reviewed from notes.
Appearance - Light yellow body. Slight haze and a small white head. Nice surface wisps.
Smell - Very lemony. Orange citrus hop, too. Fine line between lemon and hops.
Taste - Hoppy up front with a more distinct orange citrus hop flavor. After that it's incredibly lemony. Just a touch of grainy malt before a lightly bitter lemony finish.
Mouthfeel - Extremely light. Well carbonated. I could gulp this down, but I guess that's the idea.
Overall - As always, technical perfection from Hill Farmstead. It's very light in both body and flavor, but very drinkable as a result.

Life Without Principle 2 pours a hazy light yellow with a big, rocky head on top. The foam dissolves slowly leaving behind a fair amount of netted lace.
The aroma has a lot of lemon citrus. Very herbal with perhaps a touch of chamomile and pale malt mixed in.
Each sip of this light to medium bodied beer is soft on the palate with light carbonation. The flavor is loaded with tart lemon, tea like herbs and some pale malt. It finishes dry and tart. Once gone the lemon and herbs linger on the palate.
LWP #2 reminds me of a lemon drop or a cup of lemon tea. It's very drinkable and would be great on a hot summer afternoon.
