Poured from the can a very hazy golden orange color with just under a fingers worth of white foamy head. The smell bursts from the can and intensifies as you pour hitting you with tons of tropical fruit and floral notes. The flavor starts juicy before finishing off with a decent pine bitterness. The feel is soft and finished dry. This is another stellar DIPA from Hill Farmstead. Is there anything they make that isn't great?!

Multipe cans picked up and consumed within two weeks. Cans! Still blows my mind.

The epitome of the big-flavor-small-foot print beer, meaning that it packs huge flavor but doesn’t occupy or wreck your palate. It’s sessionable not by virtue of its ABV but because of its extremely soft body and nuanced flavors.

Huge hop profile that yields mouth-watering notes of tangerine, clementine, mango and peach. Pine kicker with a light kiss of bitterness.

Soft, smooth and citrus are the hallmarks of every sip. Amazing in both taste and feel.

Grab a friend and split a six pack. Yes - it’s a rare beauty and should be enjoyed, but not at the expense of putting back a few 12oz cans and shooting the shit with good company.

On tap at Doc Ponds.
This was poured into a tall tulip.
The appearance was a bright pale paper yellow color with no transparency to it. Sturdy finger's worth of white foamy head started atop and slid off at a fairly decent pace. Some speckled lace, somewhat foamy with some light little bit of bubbles here and there.
The aroma had some floral to citrusy hop qualities up front that as it warmed allowed a light semi-danky sweet character to invade appropriately.
The flavor was moderately juicy sweet pulling in the dankiness and then a slight sweetened piney freshness even further underneath. Very smooth and lingering citrusy to florally sweet aftertaste running gamut on into the mouthfeel providing a very nicely done medium bodied and mostly sipping quality along my tongue. Carbonation felt low as I expected but it's just the style and I'm not bothered by that. ABV felt on par. Nice semi-smooth, brisk and juicy finish.
Overall, a very nicely done DIPA that I would love to have again.

Appearance: Arrives hazy and amber colored with a nice head that leaves some strands of lace

Smell: Floral and citrusy, with tropical fruit tones

Taste: Pineapple and passion fruit forward, with grapefruit and pine building, through the middle; juicy, after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Another excellent beer in the S&S series
