Picked up ehh, 6 hours ago from the brewery. Noticed a crack on the side of my growler so yeah....time to crush a 2L of SS6, solo. First world problems....

A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy sunshine hue with soft flashes of orange. A nice two finger sudsy head fades to leave spotty lacing and a thin cloudy blanket.

S - If memory serves me right, this is a mosaic heavy beer. So juicy and delicious on the nose. The hops just pop out without being too resinous or oily. Dank, dank grapefruit notes. So wet and dank, with nice candy sweetness and faint malts.

T - Nice bitter hops here, but not too bitter. Again, incredibly dank and wet hop flavours with glorious grapefruit rind and pith. Nice lighter sweet malts, the hops really shine here. Good hop and malt balance here, but obviously leaning much heavier on the hops.

M - Mouthfeel is excellent for a DIPA. Relatively easily drinkable with some light but sharper carbonation. Really hides that 8.1% ABV.

O - Overall, another solid beer from Shaun. I still think I prefer SS4 out of all the Society beers. That said, this beer is "worth the price of admission" so to speak. Well crafted again.

Another great double ipa from Shaun.

I was really impressed with this hop variety. I'm not sure I've had much with mosaic hops.
Anyways the appearance is standard hill farmstead dipa, not much of a head but a little

Smell, lots of citrus, tropical fruits of all kinds hinting around

Taste is very similar

I seem to always love the mouthfeel of Shaun's dipas, thicker than all other dipas and a nice soothing sensation in the throat
