Rather light in the glass with a nice orangish-straw color. A bit hazy and capped by a sticky white head.
As expected, orange is the dominant note on the aroma but it's not quite as 'in-your-face' as I thought it would be. Instead it's a nice orange note alongside the more typical fruity hop notes and a bit of malt.
Juicy and a bit floral as well in the mouth. Not really a palate-wrecker of an IPA, instead just a nice well balanced beer with tasty orange highlights. Overall, a fine beer for a quiet evening but not quite as memorable as some other HF IPAs.

Reviewed from detailed notes after filling a growler at Hill Farmstead on 4/6/2013. Poured into a Weizen glass at low altitude in upstate NY the following day, 4/7/2013.
A: Pours a hazy light orange-yellow with a small stark-white head. No visible particles, nice lacing and a good looking beer overall.
S: Citrus and tropical fruit notes up front with sweet caramel malt notes in the background. Not particularly complex, but smells clean and juicy -- generally appealing.
T: Grapefruit citrus notes up front give way to tropical fruit sweetness and tanginess. The water has a distinctive mineral quality and the bitterness lingers for a while on the finish, but not so much as to overwhelm the balance. Fits the style nicely.
M: Medium-bodied with an appropriate level of carbonation. Wet and quite refreshing in combination with the tropical fruit and citrus flavors noted above.
O: Clean flavors that highlight a single hop. Very refreshing and would love to drink this in hot weather if it were readily available (alas).
