2L flip top growler poured into a Hill Farmstead stem. Thanks Frank!

Pour: Bright, radiant mango orange with two fingers of soapy white head. Lots of lacing, and the head hangs around at an eight of a finger for the majority of the glass. Just an awesome looking beer.

Smell: Juicy oranges and tangerines right off the bat. A touch of mango and pineapple, and maybe even some lemon. A touch of light oat sweetness, but brillant citrus really owns the nose.

Taste: Lots of oranges, tangerines, and mangos just like the nose implied. A greater presence of oat and doughy sweetness, but this is hardly close to being balanced. Slick hop oils mix with a nice citrus acidity. Finishes lightly bitter with a lingering orange juiciness.

Mouthfeel: Needless to say, this is insanely drinkable and refreshing. Drinks like juice. The hop oil and acidity play very well off each other.

Overall: I was very, very impressed with this beer. I could drink this endlessly. Well done Shaun and Luc!

Yet another incredible HF IPA. I'm handling a 64oz growler of this puppy tonight, it's been in my fridge for nine days since it was filled. Experience tells me nine days stored properly is no worry for HF IPAs.

Appearance: HF IPA. Slightly darker than the single hop IPAs Shaun makes. Trademark pillowy head that disappears before long.

Smell: Wow. Juice. Extraordinarily dry smelling, like a very crisp whiff of citrus juice, hops...and something like clementine pith, or sweet orange pith. I'm a citrus lover, this is as good as it gets.

Taste: See smell, but for your mouth. Amazing. Zero bitterness. Juicy hops, super dry finish. You're not going to believe this, but it goes down easy.

Mouthfeel: Awesome. Life most HF IPAs, the carbonation is not overpowering. Super dry mouthfeel.

Overall, it doesn't get much better than this. Of the lower gravity hoppy beers that Shaun and company have put out, I place this alongside What is Enlightenment? as one of my favorites. Echoes a baby version of Society and Solitude #4, if you ask me. Super juicy, super dry...just insanely easy to drink.

Sadly, this has kicked at HF. Here's hoping this one is brewed again.

...this morning, Shaun posted on facebook that he's brewing something that is, as he said, a fusion of Friendship & Reunion and What is Enlightenment? I'm not fortune teller, but I'd bet that's going to be pretty good.

Cheers.

Poured into a pint glass from a swing-top growler. Thanks, Matt!

A- pours a hazy, pale orange with a 1/8" foamy white head. Each sip leaves a beautiful lacing on the glass.

S- orange peel, lemon, faint pine resin

T- incredibly citrusy. Just like the smell, there is a hint if pine in the background.

M- moderate carbonation, thin-to-medium mouthfeel.

O- A fantastic American IPA. I would love to get my hands on more of this.

Growler, thanks to cypherenigma

Poured a hazy apricot color with a half inch of head.

Nose was citrus , orange and grapefruit with a hint of papaya

Taste was extremely juicy mixed with the bitterness of grapefruit pith. Slight sweetness from the orange in the after taste.

Overall this was delicious. Top 3 hf ipa next to abner and society 5
