This poured out as a hazy yellow color with a white head on top. The smell of the beer has a nice tart aroma with some hoppy aromas to it. The taste of the beer tart and citrusy, there is some subtle oak in there too. The feel is light bodied with a good carbonation. Overall this beer is very nice.

Bottle: Poured a hazy golden color with a medium white head with minimal retention and light lacing. Aroma of funky yeast notes with light vinous notes and some tart notes. Taste is a mix of light acidity notes with some tart notes with funky yeast notes. Light wine barrel notes are also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice level of complexity in this one.

Hill Farmstead Civil Disobedience from a 12 oz bottle to a small snifter.
Has more clarity than expected but a weak head.
Wild ale here, but not challenging (as many are for me). Very Tart. Fruity (non-specific). Slifght hint of vinegar.

O: excellent for style.

Wow, thanks to Kyle for this beast.

Light fizzy head, murky golden orange color.

Nose nice sour apricot peach fruit, nice floral stone fruit, nice tart funk, etc.

Taste brings nice tart fruit, little funk, peach like stone fruit, juicy fruity tangy, little acidity. Little flemmy finish, nice bitterness and juicy stone fruit.

Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice carb.

Overall, awesome.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottled 5/2013.

Appearance - Hazy deep orange, almost amber. Decent white head. A few surface islands.

Smell - Wine aroma. Strong malty aroma. A little bit acidic. Yeast aroma.

Taste - Very winey. Strong white wine. Malty again, with a bit of sweetness. Tartness builds slowly. Some caramel back there.

Mouthfeel - A little heavy. Malty and tangy. Medium carbonation.

Overall - Greater than the sum of its parts. Not my favorite Civil Disobedience, but damn good nonetheless.
