Smell: Soft fresh stone fruit. Peaches, pear skin, apricot. Zesty and tangy citrus notes. Pulpy orange juice, clementines, lemon zest, lemon heads. A touch of diced fresh cut mango and pineapple chunks. Pink bubblegum with a touch of honey malt. The beer is soft and fruity. Not overly explosive, but still it smells nice and enticing.
Taste: Right away when this beer hits the tongue it lets you know how soft, gentle and creamy it is. The beer starts out with a beautiful fresh stone fruit presence. Peach skin, perfectly ripe pear and apricot. The beer has a natural fruit sweetness throughout that comes into contact with a mild honey malt presence in the mid palette. The mid palette also consist of lighter juicy tropical fruit notes Diced mango and pineapple. As well as a mild pink bubblegum note. The natural fruit sweetness glides into the finish where it is greeted ever so graciously by some citrus peel and zest notes. Orange peel, lemon zest and a touch piney bitterness round out this lovely tasting experience.
Feel: As mentioned above this beer is so soft and gentle. Extremely creamy with a nice medium mouthfeel. The feel of this beer is so pleasant and makes this way to drinkable. I only have one can and I’m trying to make it last, but it is really hard to do that.
Overall: What a treat. This beer is absolutely stunning and easily world class. I’ve had two beers from Hill Farmstead and that is now 2/2 on knocking it out of the park.

A little more bitter on the finish than I've come to expect from HF, and the billing was for strong citrus notes. This came out much more piney and resinous than anything else. All in all still a good IIPA, just a little off the mark of what I was expecting.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Clear golden orange. Decent white head. Good collar and nice retention.
Smell - Simcoe-y. Grapefruit and a little bit of that onion to it. Malty with a doughy sweetness.
Taste - Bright citrus and some pale malt sweetness. The grapefruit builds up to an almost pithy grapefruit flavor. Bitter lingering flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium to medium heavy. Sweet and bitter. Medium low carbonation.
Overall - Missing the Society magic, I think.
Edit: Had a second growler and it had the Society magic. Rating altered due to magic.
