Got this offering after having tried Skyhag and Seat Kicker from Airways brewing and being a self proclaimed avgeek myself.
Pours a golden amber clear hue. lacing hugs the glass. Smells of crisp pine and pears.
nice hop forward bite, a HOPPY ale rings true here. Lingering lasting finish.
Worth a glance!

Poured into a Blanche de Namur small pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a long lasting one finger light khaki head that slowly leaves nice lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt with light biscuit, orange citrus, light grassy, citrus hops. Flavor is rich bready and biscuit malt; toasty with light buttery caramel, grassy, lightly citrus hops. Hops build into a citrus rind and dry grassy hop bitter finish. Excellent medium body with surprising creaminess. There is something in the biscuit malt flavor of this that is very satisfying. It has a mild buttery component that seems like it could be a flaw, but fits the malt and hop complement perfectly. Much maltier and with a depth of flavor than expected from a pale ale, but the better for it in my opinion. I really liked this a lot, making it the second Airways pale ale I was very pleased with. It is not my standard go-to style, but this could convince me otherwise. Interesting and flavorful.
