A clear, vermillion ale with an airy beige head, chocolaty nose, compressed malt contours, and a drab, bitter finish. Not flawed in any technical sense, but but this would-be red ale lacks assertiveness or definition beyond an abstract breath of simple chocolate water.

Got a small growler pour of this to go w/some homemade Shepherd's pie, lol. Let's see how this one fares.
A - Pours a deep, ruby-brown hue, w/a decent off-white head. Lacing/retention is average.
S - Smell is of subtle, chocolate malts, toasty caramel malts, and a hint of pine.
T - Taste is of smooth, caramel and chocolate malts, with hints of toastiness, and finishes w/a subtle PNW hoppiness. No, this is not a hoppy beer, just a bit more so than normal for an Irish red. (Say, a Smithwicks)
M - Mouthfeel is smooth, w/only modest carbonation. Body is medium, pretty good body for a beer of "session" strength.
O - Overall, this is what I would consider to be a PNW-style take on Irish reds. Satisfying overall, I would buy it again for sure.
