Located in a neighborhood, a few minutes north of I-84. Small parking lot and street parking. A large part of the store displays brewing supplies. Coolers on the west and north side of the store display cans and bottles of beer, with a good number priced as singles. Very good selection of local (Idaho) and Pacific NW brews, and also beer from Anchorage Brewing AK. Also has a warm shelf of beers, of more regional, national, and international breweries. Small quantity of taps for in house sampling. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Smells great.

Neighborhood brewing supplies shop that offers a remarkably broad selection of craft brews, primarily from the PNW and intermoutain west. However they also sell selected specialties from back east.

Great shop, with option to have a beer on draft while you are there (5ish taps?) Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Selection is great and you can buy singles of any beer in the place. Prices are a little higher than the Boise Co-op but not bad.

Very helpful and enthusiastic staff, eager to offer samples of selections. Wide selection of bottles to choose from, as well as rotating taps. It is not necessarily somewhere I'd sit down and drink, as the table area is close quarters, but the selection is hard to beat and they've got a great staff.

Really impressive selection of beers, in addition to brewing supplies. Has drinking space to try bottles on site, as well as a few taps. Will definitely make this a regular stop.

This place had a surprisingly good bottle selection - almost all in coolers. You can buy a bottle and drink on site. Albeit, table area is small and cramped. They also had 6 beers on draft, of decent variety. It's a brewing equipment store, first and foremost. So, the vibe has to be taken in that context. This isn't a bar. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Worth a visit, if you're looking for fresh craft bottled beer.

Brewer's Haven is a short drive from my house but I'd easily go there if it was a half hour away. First off, this is a Home Brew store. I have never had to walk out without the items I was looking for. Their customer service is top notch and the entire staff is knowledgeable about home brewing, they have multiple carboys bubbling away, and are very friendly. They have a very nice tasting area with four pub style tables. It isn't uncommon to find customers sitting and chatting while enjoying one of the four rotating beers on tap. You can buy a pint or a pitcher and both options are priced better than any place in Boise for quality beer. They host craft brewers once a month for general tastings as well.

Their retail prices for brewing equipment, ingredients and yeast are easily on par with the on-line sellers and without the waiting time for shipping. Their commercial beer selection isn't as extensive as some places but they make up for it by selling a few brews I've not seen in other locales and the prices are generally better than the others. All in all this is great place for home brewers and beer lovers alike.

This is a brewers supply store (obviously) thats about a fifteen minute walk from my house. They also have 5-6 taps and a pretty good amount of bottled beer to choose from.

I've liked it every time I've been in, the gals that work there are helpful and pretty nice. They don't serve food but their taps rotate fairly often and they keep a good wide selection in the taps they have.

There is quite a bit of home brew supplies, bottles, kits, etc., and even some wine. The bottle selection is pretty good with NW brews and then a lot of foreign stuff. I mean the Belgians and Belgian-styles are everywhere you turn, they must really dig them.

Prices are pretty good, in line with the CoOp on some things and still better than Brewforia on their more pricey stuff.

Brewers Haven hosts brewers nights fairly often, and also seem to hold tastings quite often.

This is the newest homebrew/bottle shop in Boise. It's located on the way to/from the airport.

Atmosphere is a little bit "clinical." The building used to be a gas station/convenience store. Very clean and sanitary, which is actually comforting if you're shopping for homebrew ingredients or equipment. Decent prices on ingredients and equipment; comparable and sometimes even better than online shops, especially after you factor in shipping costs. The atmosphere is a little off-putting if you plan on going in to drink some beer, although they do have a little seating area with wood siding which helps.

The staff are very friendly and seem to be knowledgeable about beer and homebrewing. I've bought ingredients there a few times, and was always able to get what I want, although I wasn't really looking for anything exotic.

Selection on bottled beer is about as good as you're going to get in Boise. All the beer is in the cooler; as stated earlier, it used to be a gas station, so the cooler is what you'd expect from any gas station. Clear doors give you a view of all they have to offer. As someone who delivers beer and wine here once a week, I can tell you that there aren't any beers in backstock that aren't on display. They haven't been around long enough to know if they can get the limited-release stuff, but I see no reason as to why they shouldn't.

They have a couple taps sticking out of one of the walls of the cooler. I think their focus is on homebrewing and bottles.

They don't serve food as far as I know.

Prices are in-line with the rest of Boise.

If I lived on the Bench, I wouldn't have any reason to venture down to the Coop. A great addition to the Boise beer scene.
