100% Mosaic hopped version of our New England IPA. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, and berries give way to a smooth, hazy beer with citrus flavors with a hint of pine.

Pours a cloudy, opaque golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both excellent. Has a juicy tropical aroma. Mango mainly. Big mango taste with some effervescence and moderate piney bitterness. Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. The Dank Juices are always a nice beverage choice.

12 oz can dated 08/17/20. Poured in the DEBC snifter.
Small off white head doesn’t linger long. Moderate carbonation. Quite hazy golden orange in color. Aroma is light, juicy, citrus. Starts much stronger in flavor, orangey sweet, tropical, maybe papaya. Becomes moderately bitter through the middle, faint aspirin that dissipates to pithy orange which lingers through the finish. Medium body. Alcohol becomes noticeable as it warms.
Overall pretty tasty.

Great Hazy, I could drink many of these out in the Northern Michigan summer sun! Very crisp!
This IPA has a very easy drinking feel!
I can't wait to get back to Oddsides and drink it from the mothership....

As I said, the Left Hand Saisons segued into Chocolate-Peanut Butter Porters & Stouts, finishing up with one from Odd Side Ales. Since I had several other Odd Sides in abeyance for The CANQuest (tm), I have decided to stick with them a bit longer for CANother brewery horizontal. Once that finishes up, I will explain my next move. Viva The CANQuest (tm)!
From the CAN: "India Pale Ale with Mosaic Hops".
This time, I realized my earlier initial mistake & treated it as an NEIPA from the outset. This included some in-CAN agitation before initiating the Crack! I then followed the Crack! with a hard, aggro C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. This resulted in the formation of two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with excellent retention. It looked like meringue atop a lemon pie! Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5), so it seemed as though I was doing things right. Nose was very tropical, very fruity, very evocative of tropical fruit salad. Mmm. I pack my own lunch so it is not like there are any surprises when I open my kit, but it is a delight when I pack a Dole Tropical Fruit Salad cup since it seems to brighten the day. I don't do it often so as not to take the bloom off of the rose. This smelled like opening one! Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium, but with a silky slickness. Taste was the usual tropical fruit suspects of mango, papaya, guava & passion fruit PLUS the unexpected woodiness of coconut! Mmm. Their site indicates that this is a single-hop beer & so it is unusual for me as I generally find Mosaic hopped beer to be too sweet. Not in this case! This was fruity without being sweet. I CAN dig it. Finish was likewise semi-dry, better than many in the style. YMMV.

I got a 6pck of this beer from the beer store just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Poured from a 12. oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of mango, peaches. Taste is the same, with the addition of oranges, juicy, yet with significant bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

Appearance: Pours an opaque honey color with a one finger head; splashy lacing
Smell: A sulfur tone impinges on the tropical fruit and makes a mess of it
Taste: Grain forward with a hint of sugar cookie; the hops don't add much beyond the aroma; slightly bitter
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not quite two months old but this one has little left to commend it

Very nice NEIPA. Love the juicy, citrusy dankness.
