S: Citrus with traces of onion and grass. Light biscuit in the background.

T: Juicy, grassy, resiny hops with a medium citrus rind bitterness.

The CANQuest (tm) is rolling along at high speed & now, having been duly CANspired by @Jimmy_Kneecaps I am taking a walk on the Odd Side, next to Lou Reed.

From the CAN: "A Juicy IPA".

I was really anxious to Crack! open the vent & get started for a couple/few reasons: 1) I was jonesing for some hops after last night's trivia featuring Hard Seltzers, 2) I had not had anything else to drink yet today & 3) I was just really curious about this one, having had it recommended to me at/by Rieker Bottle Works. My C-Line Glug was sufficient to raise two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with decent retention, leaving loads of lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was "juicy" all right - freshly-squeezed grapefruit juicy! Mmm. I am SO tired of tropical hops at this point. They were okay when they were a novelty, but I want bitterness, NOT fruitiness! Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was nicely citrusy & quite bitter, very much of grapefruit with a modicum of pine woodiness. The malt bill was probably Crystal & other unobtrusive malts. I would have been VERY disappointed if they had added Caramel or CaraPils, which they had the restraint to omit! Thank you. Each sip was a punch to the jaundiced, dying taste buds that needed to be culled out & scrubbed away. Suffering from beer ennui? Here was the cure! "Very Good"? Howzabout "Very Exciting!"? Yum. Finish was bitter & dry, just what the hops doctor ordered for this aging hophead! I probably would not want a steady diet, but two or three in the Summer's beach-bound cooler would not go unopened. YMMV.

Pours a hazy golden color with a fresh white head. Smell is dank and weedy with citrus Taste was garden hops mixed with citrus orange and lemon bread a nice combo of hops in this one . Mouth was crisp and sweet with hops yielding some bitterness in the finish.

Pours a fairly clear bright yellow with a huge white head that sticks around and leaves great lacing. Aroma is citrusy and piney hops. Flavor is bold hops, both citrus and some pine. Feel is light to medium bodied. Overall a fine beer.

This is another Oddside I could drink again and again.

It pours yellow and not quite clear with very nice fine foam. The aroma is dirty hops - juicy. The taste is mostly bitter hoppy goodnesss, with little malt showing through.

Recommended. A reasonable value too.

12 oz can ($2) from Ohio with no date stamp served in a pint glass in early August 2018.
Pours hazy, pale amber with a good, creamy, white head. Patterned sticky lacing and good retention.
Interesting aroma with pine, citrus, herbal and earthy notes.
Flavor: hop profile largely follows the aroma but is more dank. Moderate-high strength and bitterness for style.
Medium+ body with medium carbonation.
Overall: the mix of hop flavors lacks harmony.

Canned on 10/19/17. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a mild chill haze but still has some transparency to it with some bubbles racing upwards; big fluffy eggshell white head that slowly falls leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas are floral. Hints of fresh bread and crackers. Malts are there. The flavors have some hints of orange and grapefruit. It's on the citric side. Fresh grass is there. More bread and crackers. Crisp hop bitterness. Malts are there, but seem to take a backseat. Finishes dry. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's smooth and easy to drink.

This is an alright IPA. It's more of a classic traditional example of the style. It's nothing too crazy, but it's clean, crisp and refreshing.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/17/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, cracker, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.5%. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resin/drying finish. Really great mix of citrus, fruity, tropical, and earthy/piney hop complexity; nice malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Extremely dank, juicy, and vibrant. A very enjoyable offering.

Canned 2/21/18; drank 3/20/18 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a huge white head; strong, frothy lace.

Lemon, mild dry grass & faint cream notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Lemon & mild cream flavors up front; dry, mildly bitter wheat notes on the finish.

Nice, mild IPA vibes marred a bit on the finish. I'd have another, but this isn't one I'll try hard to seek out again.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on March 31, 2018. A harmonious blend of hops give this beer a sweet citrus aroma, juicy flavor and slightly bitter finish.
