The CANQuest (tm) is rolling along at high speed & now, having been duly CANspired by @Jimmy_Kneecaps I am taking a walk on the Odd Side, next to Lou Reed.
From the CAN: "A Juicy IPA".
I was really anxious to Crack! open the vent & get started for a couple/few reasons: 1) I was jonesing for some hops after last night's trivia featuring Hard Seltzers, 2) I had not had anything else to drink yet today & 3) I was just really curious about this one, having had it recommended to me at/by Rieker Bottle Works. My C-Line Glug was sufficient to raise two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with decent retention, leaving loads of lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was "juicy" all right - freshly-squeezed grapefruit juicy! Mmm. I am SO tired of tropical hops at this point. They were okay when they were a novelty, but I want bitterness, NOT fruitiness! Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was nicely citrusy & quite bitter, very much of grapefruit with a modicum of pine woodiness. The malt bill was probably Crystal & other unobtrusive malts. I would have been VERY disappointed if they had added Caramel or CaraPils, which they had the restraint to omit! Thank you. Each sip was a punch to the jaundiced, dying taste buds that needed to be culled out & scrubbed away. Suffering from beer ennui? Here was the cure! "Very Good"? Howzabout "Very Exciting!"? Yum. Finish was bitter & dry, just what the hops doctor ordered for this aging hophead! I probably would not want a steady diet, but two or three in the Summer's beach-bound cooler would not go unopened. YMMV.

Pours a fairly clear bright yellow with a huge white head that sticks around and leaves great lacing. Aroma is citrusy and piney hops. Flavor is bold hops, both citrus and some pine. Feel is light to medium bodied. Overall a fine beer.

A nice IPA here. Pretty hazy really, not much clarity, pours a darker golden amber. Nice hoppy citrusy nose, easy drinking, crisp, dank juicy hoppiness, lemon peel, refreshing, a little sweet, a little roasty, pretty nicely balanced. Not necessarily special, but a very solid IPA.

Fantastic IPA that I’ve been meaning to try for a while from a great local brewery. Looks amazing - darker golden color with loads of fluffy, soapy head that very slowly receded, plus some great spotty lingering lacing. Smells deeply of hops - citrus, pine and a little herbal note. Tastes of lots of citrus zest - lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit, orange - as well as vanilla, biscuit, caramel, piney and herbal hops and a well-balanced malt backbone. Very smooth mild mouthfeel and great carbonation. Truly a well-balanced IPA with the sweetness and bitterness playing well off each other.

12 oz can ($2) from Ohio with no date stamp served in a pint glass in early August 2018.
Pours hazy, pale amber with a good, creamy, white head. Patterned sticky lacing and good retention.
Interesting aroma with pine, citrus, herbal and earthy notes.
Flavor: hop profile largely follows the aroma but is more dank. Moderate-high strength and bitterness for style.
Medium+ body with medium carbonation.
Overall: the mix of hop flavors lacks harmony.
