This brewery is most easily found by parking in the lot on the west side of the building and going into the building's central hallway thru an entrance on the side of the building, or going in thru the N. 1st Street door where the brewery's patio is located. There are only small signs on the doors to identify the brewery.

this place is simply awesome! thanks to BeerAdvocate advice and reviews, we made the 20-25 minute drive from our base in grand rapids during spring break. (yes, others hit the beach for spring break - we bought KBS and hit 9 western MI breweries instead). although i did expect to find some innovative small batch recipes based on what i have read/learned - i was simply blown away at the quality of their brews. the two that we chose to come home w. us: smokin hama mama (a CPA w. papaya and chipotle) and the dry irish stout. and that balance of selection is what is great about this place: innovative recipes & flavor rich quality brews. consistently.
location is a bit tricky to find: the brewery neon is behind a walkway corridor from the west. no food is served. space is comfortable - games & darts are available. staff is friendly. and the beer is simply awesome. one of my favorites.

Love this place. Amazing beers, great atmosphere, more like a fun beer hall where everyone sits together. Just be friendly and you will love it. Met my wife there!
They are expanding to take up the most of the first floor. Oh by the way, it’s not in a strip mall like a previous reviewer stated. It’s a historical factory converted to retail and condos. Cool place!

Stopped here enough times now to hopefully do a review justice.
Transparent tap list, including sizes, prices, and even to go beers. Incredibly affordable all around. Even the sampler is less expensive than I typically see (at least in the Detroit area).
No servers and tables are FCFS AFAIK.
The biggest plus, is they have one or more rare-er beers on tap often. This is a huge plus to any out of town visitor. You never know what you are going to run into while visiting. This is one place I'd like to be a mug club member just because of their willingness to put out their highly sought after stuff anytime of year.
If you happen to come here for a bottle release know that their prices (~$5 for a 12oz bottle) are some of the best special release prices you'll pay for a quality BA stout.

My wife and I sat at the bar and received good service from the bartender. He poured us flights, sold us t shirts and stickers and filled a crowler of a limited beer that I don't normally see on the street.
The prices were reasonable, t shirts started at 10 bucks (that stood out to me) the crowler was very reasonably priced considering the style/rarity of beer. They had some bombers for sale, but not anything that caught my eye.
The ambiance wasn't anything amazing, but the crowd there had a hiking/vacationing/biking kind of vibe to it at the moment. Pretty chill.
They didn't have their own food, but they had a menu for the place next door. We had two good sandwiches and paid the delivery person upon delivery, easy peasy.
Overall a good experience. They have enough taps that everyone should be able to find something to their liking. I hope to return one day if afforded the opportunity. (Bonus, they're close to pigeon hill in a neighboring town)

Hands down one of my favorite breweries in Michigan. The selection is unreal and the change up is great. I always enjoy a trip to Grand Haven just to visit! Beerjito still remains my favorite!

In a strip mall, felt more like a coffee shop than brewery, beer is very good to excellent, service is good at the bar, not much in terms of tableside service and the restrooms are community down the hall - not in the taproom. Excellent and varied taplist - no food, but can order in from a variety of places. Wish the vibe was better, but the quality and tap selection make a worthwhile stop.

Really fun place, great atmosphere and terrific service. Kind of hard to find the first time but we'll worth the seek. I didn't count taps but I'd ballpark it at about 20 or so? Good mix of selections as well.

Best thing about Grand Haven! This is the one place my wife and I must go when we visit family. Love the chill Lebowski feel in this historic building.

Odd Sides always has a substantial list of beers on tap, great variety and some amazing brews! It gets packed on Friday and Saturday nights when they have entrainment, but otherwise the vibe is friendly with knowledge and helpful bar
staff. There are no staff waiting tables and food choices are basically bagged popcorn and chips, but we often stop at the bakery on the next block and pick up a couple of their excellent soft pretzels to take to Odd Sides.

I've been in here quite a few times with my Wife (typically when we're in Grand Haven checking out Lake Michigan). The staff seems to know their beer well, and they work hard to keep the waiting to a minimum. Every time we've been there, I've seen at least 2-3+ BA beers available, in addition to another 15 or so other options (quite a few different styles as well). While I have had a few of their beers that missed the mark (for me), the majority are very enjoyable.
The atmosphere in the pub is just awesome. Even on busy days (like releases), most of the customers are very laid back and friendly. The ONLY downside (if there is one), is that they don't serve food.

Awesome place, wish the brewery wasn't grouped with other stores. The Hipster Brunch is one of my all time favorites. Grand Haven is an awesome beach town
