update: bigger bar now with 20 taps. better food selections too, with nachos and chicken salad a hit. Retail section is smaller, but still quality. Well worth a stop if in the area.

Stopped in here this weekend, passing through. Interesting little store/bar.

Front of the establishment is retail, with all single sales. Everything is priced as a single and for Concord, the selection is excellent. 3 ~10 foot aisles with a very nice selection of micros and a few imports. All the standards for my taste are there (Bells, Terrapin, Mother Earth, DR, Founders). New Holland Envious 2011 was a nice find.

Back 90% of the space is a very funky bar. 1970's chairs are clustered around small tables. Bar is pretty small, with two fridges turned into an 8 tap keg-o-rator. Yeti, Foothills Torch, JR Rockers Peach, Founders Porter were among the selections. Saw a row of empty kegs in the back and they had just finished off Hop Devil and Lagunitas selections.

Food offerings are pretty spartan, but palatable. My 10 yo son was impressed with his hot dog.

They have a small setup for live music and a foosball and an air hockey table in the back. Lots of local, funky art adorns the walls.

If I lived here, this would be a regular for me. Very laid back feel and both of the guys working obviously cared about the products they served.

While not a destination, if you are in Concord and want craft beer then this is the place to go.

Neat spot in the heart of downtown Concord. Great college vibe, stuff hanging from the ceiling - everywhere - art on the walls - 23 taps with a nice selection of local and national brews. For this area, this is a 4+ bar... if I were a local, you'd find me there. Check it out if you're in the area. I had a Bigfoot and my girl Chez had Voila.

The first part of the store is great, lots of different types of bottled beers. Short selection of craft beers on tap, but it's nice for Concord. I live in Harrisburg, so I get the best of both Charlotte and Concord, but for Concord, it's a nice little spot to stop by for a beer.

Although, I do have to say they had Miller, coors, and bud available. I saw some people drinking it and I wanted to smack them. But other than that, it's got an ok selection on tap, better bottled selection.

I may stop by again.

Great beer to go selection in the front of the store. Awesome Wednesday night deal, free samples along with an open mic night. Had 8 beers on tap rotating selection, as they go dry they get changed. 12+ different domestic bottles. All were very reasonably priced. Really cool place had alot of fun. Great service, great beer, lots of fun give it a shot. They had a limited food selection but seemed to be good pub food. Alot of people were eating off the menu and all looked good but I had already eaten so I will try it on the next trip. Give this place a try it was really cool, especially on Wednesday nights.
