Pours a hazy light yellow-orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, herbal hops, and some vegetal onion and garlic aromas. Taste is much the same with mainly vegetal hop flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with a hop presence that isn't all that balanced in my opinion.

This beer is an extremely pale white gold color. A thin, bubbly, perfectly white head caps it at about 3/4 fingers at its highest. Retention is pretty good, and it sticks around for a bit. Some lacing mingles around the walls of the glass.
This beer smells a bit like White Rajah to me, hoppier on the nose than the flavor; there are some great aromatic hops here. Pale malt balances it out. Maybe it's just how fresh it is, as I don't see much talk about the aroma. Of course it's not as powerful as WR, but it's very nice overall.
The flavor is interesting given the nose. It's definitely a pale ale, and not a bad one. But stronger than the raw pine and citrus hops are softer notes of pale fruit flesh and a strongly vinous note. Still, it's nicely hopped for a pale ale, and has a good depth and balance.
Good carbonation in a solid body that's stronger than the look would imply give this a sturdy crispness and keep it smooth consistently through.

Super foamy head build up... over half the pint glass on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is mild lemon and honey.
The taste is mild overall, lemon and mild pine bitterness.
The texture is soft and fizzy.
Super foamy, mild flavor.

From the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This nice XPA pours a nice lightly murky amber
tinged straw color with a fluffy head of white foam that settles to a thick ring,
thick layer, and modest lacing. Nose of heavy piney hops, heavy citrus notes lemon zest,
and subtle grain notes. Flavors follow but lightly exceed the \taste with lemon and pine
lightly touched with grain and subtle honey malts. Nice mouth feel, medium carbonation, and
a dry hop laden finish. Overall good for the summer seasons, but really like their stouts more.
Nice change of pace.

Raul's homeboy was dead set on buying this swill for some reason - he was feelin' tha local brew, I guess.

Ok... Smells like the cow pastures out in the Inland Empire and taste like the state of Iowa if it was bottled. Nothing against Iowa, my peeps, but Raul ain't into the grass game unless it's the "grass game," ya feel me?

Raul does not agree.

Bready, crisp, clean, not noticing any of these grass or pine flavors. Defiantly picking up lemony / grapefruit characteristics.
