Thanks to the cool beer girl at Whole Foods Escondito (I think that was the town anyways) for the local recommendations. Into my new toolbox snifter,

Pours a rich amber-orange with two fingers of thick, cream coloured head. Nice sweet tangy nose full of light fruits and dank hops.

Taste is much the same with a solid, fairly sweet pale malt base, light floral notes, tangy light fruits, and of course those dank sticky hops providing some decent bitterness. Medium+ body, below medium carbonation.

Good stuff.

Pours dark orange, just a bit hazy, with a nice fluffy white head, leaving some pretty lacing as it recedes.
Strong sweet citrus smell, with juicy orange, some tangerine and some pink grapefruit. Tripel fruitiness too, with some yellow apple, some quince, faint pear. Honey and caramel. Belgian yeasts.
Sweet (and a tiny bit bitter) fruitiness up front, kinda stale, like fermenting oranges, apple, pear, cherry plum, faint melon, faint maracuja. Honey sweetness, a bit sugary at times, floral notes, nice spicy herbal notes from the yeasts, but also from the hops (coriander, dill, faint clove, lemongrass, peppermint, white pepper). Add a pronounced grassiness in the finish, a bit of pine, spicy and leafy hops, and you get a nice fresh bitterness.
Medium body and carbonation, a bit prickly. Yeasty and herbal hoppy aftertaste, bit of orange peel too. Bit of booze.
A nice collaboration, traditional, with a nice Mosaic twist, but nothing groundbreaking. Wasn't too fresh, so there's also that.
