355ml can poured into TeKu glass. "Genesis Date" 14th March 2016 so 15 months old. Allowing for the age of this beer and the expected drop in hop intensity this is a really nice flavoursome beer. This has travelled half way round the world and sat on a shelf in my local bottle shop for god knows how long so I expect some diminishing of the aroma and flavour but it kind of grates that we have to pay a premium to drink very old American beer. I can't wait for my Florida holiday next year so I can get my hands on some fresh US IPAs. Cheers!!

Dark gold/honey color. Grapefruit, oranges, and melon with subtle black tea on the nose. Citrus and herbal tea-like flavor. Tropical citrus with just a touch of honey. Finish is soft but dry and resiny. Lighter bodied IPA. Overall, well-balanced and refreshing.

Draught pour at Union in a shaker pint. Pours a vibrant copper color with a finger of cream colored head that left windshield lacing. Nose was faint tropical notes but fairly mute. Taste was slightly sweet, appropriately named, but a nice balance of citrus and tropical attributes. Mouthfeel was solid, carbonation on the higher side, and the finish had a tiny bit of spiciness. Enjoyed this, but I prefer Boo Koo.

Can picked up at the COOP tonight... Pours clear orange with a good white head... Tons of citrus hoppiness and big melon too ... a little catty... Finishes pretty dry with just enough pale malt to balance... Very drinkable even given the bigger ABV... And a good deal for the can.
