On-tap at Mother Earth

A: The pour is a slightly hazy golden color with a white head.

S: Lots of sage in the nose. Way too much, in fact. Along with the pepper and intense floral notes, this beer is quite medicinal and unpleasant on the nose.

T: Thankfully the flavor was not as awful, but still a bit too intense in terms of the sage. Lightly citrusy and plenty of floral notes along with a bit of sugar and sweet malts.

M: The body is medium with a lively carbonation.

D: This beer was reminiscent of the Bruery's Orchard White in that the flavorings simply overwhelmed the beer and turned it into something unenjoyable rather than complimentary.
