Growler shared by Paul. This is an Imperial Porter and the base beer for Vanilla Storm, a collaboration between Double Overhead Brewing and Mother Earth.

A: Deep brown with a small creamy tan head. Nice color with a faint red tinge.

S: Expressive chocolate nose with a light roasted profile and a little toast. No evident alcohol. Nice and mellow.

T: Chocolate is rich and dark with a dash of milk. Malt is slightly roasted. Very smooth and moderately sweet. Booze is very well hidden. Finishes a bit drier, with lingering chocolate and a touch of bitterness.

M: Upper medium in body with moderate carbonation. Mouthfeel is creamy, smooth, and sticky.

Overall: A nice Imperial Porter. I'm looking forward to trying Vanilla Storm.
