a - Light amber ale with one inch of head
s - Definite Nelson hops here - bitter/floral/fruity and very bready. Its very different then most IPA's but I really like the balance and complexity. I keep smelling it several times before wanting to sip.
t - Taste like it smells - bready with a lot of unique hop fruit and bitterness. Differnt then the typical West Coast IPA but very good. Definite bitterness in the taste but its balanced with the floral/fruit/whole graininess.
m - Medium body and nice bitterness.
o - Pretty good and unique IPA. Interesting aroma, good mouthfeel, nice flavor. Definitely worth a try for its uniqueness.

Canned date of 12/19/16
Appearance - Pours crystal clear and brilliant orange copper in color with an off-white, half-finger head that dissipates within seconds, leaving behind a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Pine and citrusy aroma with a bit of cattiness. Hints of toasted malt.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair notes of pine and citrus with a touch of toasted malt. Hints of honey sweetness develop as the brew warms. Finishes more sweet than bitter.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Smooth enough drinker, but nothing noteworthy.
Overall - Has a very 'Alpine' feel to it, but not nearly the developed flavor. It's good, but not great and for the price I'll look elsewhere in the future.

New world hops experience. Extraordinary hoppy beer, bringing in the totality of New World hops. Very lacy, bold but not palate erasing citrus
hops. Hop forward, comes on like 60 or higher ibu. A must try for hop fans, or most of us. Incredibly drinkable. Bomber from SD. I return the favour by circling Mother Earth for a visit in my next California trip.

Clear orange color with off-white head. Aroma has some bright hops with tropical fruit flavors. Taste has also nice fruity hop flavors, not too bitter, really hoppy and tasty. Medium body and carbonation, quite smooth. Really well made, easy drinking, aromatic IPA.

Kismet is a fantastic example of a good use of Nelson hops. Not overwhelming with too much malt to balance the very distinct flavors.

New Zealand hops give this a citrus zing. Refreshing IPA from SoCal.

Canned 5/17/16 so about 5 weeks old. Smells of white/green grapes
Taste: very heavy in white grape taste, very much nelson sauvin flavoring
color: it's in a can who knows
feel: moderate thickness
Overall I think this more or less is a SMASH with nelson. I think nelson by itself is a bit much and needs another hop to balance this out whether it be citra, mosaic or maybe another more fruit/pine forward hop.
This tastes like a white wine + light ale mixed together and really shows how nelson sauvin tastes and smells. Definitely good experience for homebrewers to experience.
