On tap at Strong Ale 2011.

A: Transparent yellow gold with a monstrous white sea foam head. Outstanding retention and lacing.

S: Aromatic mango with lightly spicy floral notes. There's a light peppery note as well. Orange blends with grapefruit and tangerine. Belgian yeast character is evident but subtle.

T: Moderately bitter up front with a lot of mango and grapefruit. Alcohol is noticeable in the taste, and the Belgian yeast is more influential here than it was in the nose. Malt imparts a little bread.

M: Lower medium body with upper moderate carbonation.

Overall: A nice Belgian Double IPA. I'm loving this Moteuka hop.
