Poured from the tap into a pint glass. This beer is a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. The flavor is light hops with a smooth texture.

On tap, Irish Pub Lewisburg

A- pours a clear pale golden color with a small creamy white head that produces some lacing as it settles

S- faint grassy hop, toasted crackery malt, slightly metallic

T- grassy hops follow aroma with hints of floral notes as well. Crisp malt mid-palate, with a dry sweet finish, picking up a bit of diacetyl the finish

M- medium light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

O- I've had this one several times, it just isn't my favorite. Their pale ales seem to be much better

S- Seriously I smell nothing

Pours nice clear and golden. Small head. Malty grassy, smell. Taste is heavy on the malts Advertises as light on the hops and heavy on the malt, that is what you get. Not bad in a wold of over hopulation, I dont mind this.

Pours clear gold. White lace for a head.

Smells of sweet barley malt and light citrus.

Tests of crisp barley malt, sugar, and a light dry hop.

Medium body with soft carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

Very tasty and enjoyable session beer. Especially good body for the style. Pairs with food easily.

I have had this on tap several times at various locations around WV. The first time I nearly returned it to the bar. It was so incredibly buttery that I could barely finish it. It felt as if I was drinking melted butter with a slight hop presence. I gave it another try about 6 months later because I do want to see this brewery succeed due to the fact that it's from my home state. However, not much has changed with this brew. I think they might have fixed the previous recipe somewhat, but the butter notes are just out of control in this. The hops are abnormally high for a lager and the aroma isn't exactly pleasant. I usually write fairly detailed notes for the beers I try, but there honestly isn't much to write home about this. What is truly sad about this is that I LOVE their other beers. They just simply missed with this brew.
