12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/7/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a spotty lacing cap that lingers. Minimal spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Good appearance. Aromas of big peach, apricot, melon, pineapple, pear, honey, bread, rosemary, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of peach/apricots, herbal spices, pale malt, and fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big tart peach, apricot, melon, pear, pineapple, honey, bread, rosemary, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruit tartness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, apricot, melon, pineapple, pear, honey, bread, rosemary, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of peach/apricots, herbal spices, pale malt, and fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from fruit acidity as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/acidic, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming presence after the finish. Overall this is a very nice fruited gruit style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of peach/apricots, herbal spices, pale malt, and fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Huge on the fruit flavor, and not overly sweet on the malt. A very enjoyable offering.

A - Copper, hazy body, some transparency, a thin white head. No real lacing to be seen.

S - Fruit is front, mostly apricots, but also peaches. Very strong sweetness.

T - Fruit is foremost flavor, apricot again overpowering peaches, but peaches do peek through. There is some sweetness, but it coupled on the tongue with a pungent sourness.

M - A bit cloying, with drying the only thing keeping the beer from becoming overwhelming after a few sips.

O - The apricot flavor is full and rich. The more fragile peach flavors are harder to find, but they are there. Sweetness gives way to an abiding sourness.

On-tap at the brewery

A: Hazy orange brown in color served with no head, just ring of foam.

S: Obvious peach character and fragrant herbal notes.

T: The herbs are the first thing to hit the palate. Herbal tones are soft, yet have a slight spiciness on the finish. The herb flavor is then washed out by a growing fruity peach flavor. Finish is of fresh peaches and herbs again.

M: Somewhat light bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Slightly crisp.

O: I'm not usually into fruity beers, but this beer really hit the spot on this hot day. Super tasty and very refreshing.

A beer from Mt. Pleasant Brewing Company, my hometown. I actually tried the beer up north near Petoskey, The beer itself if full bodied and very sweet. It tastes of peaches and fruit but is a little too sweet for my palate. I enjoyed the beer I had but having just one was enough for me.
