A-Decent looking beer that pours a slightly-hazy darker-amber w/thick beige head, lots of carbonation at first, and average retention. Ingredients listed on the label include "water, malted barley, hops, spices and yeast." Best by May 4th, 2011.

S-Rich malty profile, faint fruit esters, apple, cranberry, notes of hops.

T&M-Matches aroma. Roasty malt flavor dominates w/just a touch of sweetness, delicate fruit flavors midway, and finish is fairly dry w/a touch of spice a bit of mineral that amps up the body. Body is light-medium, and carbonation is moderate and at just the right level.

D-A good basic brew that is refreshing and flavorful. The weather's a little cold this week, and it's more appropriate than the lagers and pilsners I've been drinking. This is my second sample from this brewery, and my preferred variety thus far.

A: Muddled golden brown (not the nicest looking beer, admittedly) with half a finger of beige head that fades within a minute and leaves no lacing.

S: Herbal hops, biscuity malts, dried fruits. Some earthy/roasted notes underneath.

T: The malts hit first, with several layers of toasted and bready flavors being most prominent. Their sweetness is tempered slightly by a touch of herbal/grassy hop bitterness in the middle. A faint yeasty fruitiness pervades, especially in the beginning. Relatively clean finish.

M: Medium-light bodied, with a subtle but adequate carbonation.

O: Overall a pretty balanced beer with decent complexity and no off flavors. Not necessarily worth seeking out, but if you stumble upon it, you wouldn't be wrong to pick it up.
