An American style IPA, golden in color with light malt hues and strong hop characteristics. Its vibrant citrus aromas and bitterness are created by four bold American hops. Our dry hopping gives this beer that distinctive and aggressive hop finish.

Pleasant golden amber in the tall glass. Plenty of carbonation. One nice thing about cans, you get a nice burst of aroma when you pop the top. This one has a robust nose of something like Cascades, but it gets your attention.
Some malty sweetness, but only a little. Quite sharp and on the acidic side. Thoroughly bitter, and pushing it a little with the ultra-light body. Very fragrant with every gulp. Lots of dry, piney flavor.
Happy to see another small brewery packaging in cans. From the 16 oz purchased at Dan's supermarket in Salt Lake.

Pours dark gold with good head and smells of pine and dark malts. This is now listed at 5%, and the appearance was a tip off, but this is bitter, and hoppy, and has plenty of bite to go with ample toasted malt and pine. It’s not terribly complex but whatnot brings to the table is good enough and makes it fairly easy to drink if you are not hop averse. My second beer from this brewery and this is another decent one from them, cheers!

Perfect medium amber with a persistent head
Smells very sweet and hoppy
Taste is dense of bitter hops, extreme hoppiness scalds the taste buds chased with a small amount of sweetness
This beer is great unless you only like citrusy hops

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had subtle citrus peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bitter hop presence some citrus flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Get this, in Utah you can’t buy beer/ale over 3.2 ABW or 4 percent alcohol. So, this tasty little baby IPA is actually quite delicious considering. I just drank two Golden Road “Heal the Bay IPAs” before this Johnny’s IPA and of course it’s not even in the same class, literally. So unfair comparisons aside, for $6-7 a 4 pack, I feel like this ultra low IPA brings some interesting characteristics to the table.
Medium bodied at first with a crackery, slightly caramel backbone and a peppery, only slightly citrus forward hop presence. Great head retention and left lots of lacing. As it warmed it felt a bit thinner but was nevertheless easy to drink with enough bittnerness and flavor to keep me sipping.
I’m just happy I can grab this in Utah as a fix because for a minute there I thought I’d be stuck with a 4 percent macro. ;)

A close second to their red-rye IPA. Lots of flavor in 4% package. Best at Moab, ok in tall boy.
a) Pours a clear, pale golden body w a white firm head that laces plenty.
s) citrus and fruity hops with a bit too much grain.
t) More cereal grain that I like but saved by the piney, hoppy notes of orange, grapefruit, pine and flowers. Plenty for a light ABV beer. Tasted well vs a 7% IPA.
f) Too light bodied
o) Well done session IPA.
