Starts out with a nice mouthful of flavor. The usual watery body that makes for a pleasant quaff. Clear, on the dark side of amber in the tall glass. Plenty of suds. A little bit of the biscuit aroma.

Fair amount of malt with some toasty, roasted flavors. The classic amber flavor with earthy hints. Some sweetness from the malt. A moderate bitterness, and more in the aftertaste.

From the 16 oz can, a nice size for these 4% beers. Thanks to Dan's supermarket in Salt Lake for this one.

Beer #9 in the great Utah Brew Hunt.

My first beer from Moab.

Right on. Kudos for putting out an amber lager. Don't seem to see to many of those.

A pretty decent example of the style, though quite earthy and rustic at first. Malts seem quite pronounced and thorough as time goes on. Flavor is consistent and even. Carbonation seems a bit high, but it's no matter. The beer is pretty solid and overall well made.

Pours a very nice reddish/amber color, nice carbonation, with a nice one-finger creamy off-white head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, slight hop note, lots of caramel. The taste is malty, and bitter, kinda nutty. Medium body. Not a bad brew at all.

Clear red colored beer with a small tan colored head.

Smells malty with a scent of scorched sugar and mealy grain. Toasted grain and mild grass and tea scents. Mildly yeasty. Very mild fruity aromas.

Starts out mildly sweet with a caramel flavor. Mild hop leaf with a slight tobacco flavor. Tastes OK but is really light.

Mouthfeel is OK.

Overall this is OK but nothing great.

Poured from a tall can into a glass. One finger of head on an amber colored body. The aroma is a fragrant wet grain smell. The taste is nice with light grain, mild bitter and a little spice. Fairly rich taste for a lager.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
A lager with some heft.

16oz, 12/27/12
DFH IPA glass

A: Pours a hazy amber. About a finger of slightly off white head. Some sticky lacing.

S: Smells bready. Caramel malts. Some nuttiness. Grainy malts. Some slight earthy hops.

T: Light earthy piney hops up front, very light. Then it's all malts. True to lager despite appearance. Crisp dry finish.

M: Medium bodied.

Orange glow with good clarity and a sticky off white head which slowly dies. Lightly toasted grains on the nose with a mild hop presence. Very thin light body but carbonation is lower than expected. Light malty flavors and not much else. Faint bitterness. light caramel notes and even a faint cola flavor but his is a pretty bland and light beer. Drinkable and not much else.

Decent lager. Thin and watery body; toasty sweet malts up front, and a slight bitter grassy hop in the aftertaste. No lace on glass; poured a 1 finger white foamy head; red color. Smells sweet, toasty, malty, and grainy. Reminds me of an Oktoberfest or Vienna Lager.

Can poured into a glass; modest carbonation and nice head. Clear Amber color, light on the palate with subtle malts. A descent beer but not really one to rave about

I have to say that I live in Delaware and this was a can. I would like to get this as a draft and visit the review again. I do think that it lacked a good head and a crisp freshness. After all, this can could have been in transit a while. The amber lager style is best served fresh as possible.
