My girlfriend and I stopped by on our way up to Seattle to grab a bite to eat. Me being a beer nerd suggested Moab Brewery. We walk in, its very touristy. Big spacious spot in a strip center along the main road through town. It was pretty busy and our server looked as he wasn't even old enough to drink beer. When I asked about their selections he pointed out they have a menu. I was very disappointed. The food was fried and the atmosphere reeked Moab( not trying to put down Moab, I actually love the place). It was all in all a "Okay" place. Beer wasn't too bad, being in the middle of a desert.

Every year we seem to end up spending a night in and around Moab after a week of overlanding in Southern Utah or Northern Arizona. Usually Peace Tree for brunch and Moab Brewery for dinner. Moab Brewery is more like a T.G.I. Fridays then a traditional brewpub. Eclectic decor with a "pieces of flair" required. The menu is pretty large, but the food, service, and beer is OK. Utah limits the ABV% on tap beers, so you'll have to pay a little extra for beers in the bottle/can which comes at full strength.

Stopped 2 times after hiking in the nearby National Parks. Beer was decent since they cannot go above 4% on tap. Black Raven was as good as low ABV stout you can find. I also like the Red Rye IPA. Wife really liked the brown ale. Food was very good especially the Jack Daniels burger was good. About as good a brew pub you can find in Utah.

A bit on the touristy side but food and beer are pretty good.

We spent the better part of a week hiking in southeastern Utah... hitting Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, and every night after a day on the trails we hit the Moab brewery for dinner... to have a drinks and unwind, occasionally with new friends we'd met on the trail that day. Utah is an interesting place to drink beer, and the stuff they have on tap is all less than 4% ABV as per Utah law. The brewery gets around this by bottling their best stuff, and you can order it chilled and drink the full strength stuff at the bar with no problem and they had a few very nice beers available this way. The ambiance is great... very family friendly, ample seating, friendly service... and even though they were packed every night we never had to wait too long for seating/service. It helps that the food was great. Overall a great little brewpub and a fantastic night out in Moab.

Visited during my one night stay in Moab after spending the day hiking around Arches National Park. It was great to see a brewery in Moab which is a lively town with lots of tourist activity. Pretty standard brewpub overall with a large bar and a ton of tables. It was very busy in the dining section but there was plenty of space at the bar when we were there. The service was fast and attentive but it seemed like one of the bartenders was a bit arrogant and was talking constantly about the patrons around the bar. Doesn't really bother me but can be annoying. Certainly not decked out for the beer geek but the beer will definitely hit the spot after being out in the hot sun all day. I would say it is slightly above average brewpub beer and consistently that way; not just one or two good beers. I sampled a few drafts and I actually thought the Dead Horse Mild was a good representation of the Mild style. Not many other options in the area but this is enough to satisfy craft cravings in a ridiculously beautiful part of the country.

Rated OK since they serve 3.2% (AB) or 4.0% ABV) beer. Friendly atmosphere, convenient location but a lot of business - definitely one of the hot spots in Moab, UT.
