22oz bottle

Pours a perfect two finger white head into my willi glass. Very frothy and sturdy. The body is a golden orange, with some amber hues. Clarity is quite high. A HUGE amount of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Overall this looks great so far.

The nose is just wonderful, huge tropical fruit bomb. Melon, mango, papaya. Slightly dank underneath everything here, with a touch of citrus. Smells fantastic.

Flavor is smoother than the nose, not quite as much of a punch. Certainly a little fruity, with that dankness coming through a bit more on the flavor. Very smooth, almost creamy. It’s a tasty beer, I would like the same level of energy I was getting from the nose though. This is a hard one to grade, it’s a good beer, and tasty, but the flavor is just not that big.

Mouthfeel is ok, it’s a little bit under carbonated. As mentioned above, there is a bit of a smooth creaminess here, and that definitely comes through most on the feel. It’s got a small bite to it, but overall it’s on the smoother side. Not bad, would prefer more carbonation.

The drinkability is quite high, it’s a tasty brew, and it’s very smooth.

Overall this is a good beer, but the flavor just isn’t big enough for me to give it a crazy good review.

The appearance turned out fantastic here. I had a full head well over five minutes after the pour. A island of head hung around the rest of the way. Lacing way thick from top to bottom, great looking beer.

Interested early but dropped off and seemed over hoppy and unbalanced. Had draft in bend.

I can't quite put my finger on what I'm tasting but this clean citrus and biscuit malts!

Dull copper color with nice crisp white frothy and rocky head. The smell is clearly hoppy, citrus, orange and apricot scents. Taste is clean with a mild malt start and a punch of hops in the end lingering in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light and whispy. Great beer overall.

On tap in Greenville SC in a Gouden Carolus glass.

Clear golden body with a good white head.
Aroma: citrus, other tropical fruits and pine with hints of melons.
Nicely hoppy flavor that has moderate-mild bitterness and high complexity. The body is a bit too thin but works well with the medium+ carbonation and semi-dry finish.

Overall: flavorful IPA with limited bitterness.

Pours hazy orange amber color with a 1-2 finger white foamy head that has tons of tiny bubbles in it which dissipated very slowly and left very good foamy lacing and rings as it went down. The lacing rings were very thick and left a layer on top.

Smells of orange peel, lemon zest, citrus hops, fresh piney hops, toasted grains, graham cracker, grapefruit, caramel, spruce tips and earthy notes mixed with peppery spices. Very nicely balanced, but not the big bold hoppy nose I expected out of a brewery from Portland, Oregon.

Taste has a lot more malt and grains than I anticipated, and while it doesn't taste bad I figured it would be quite hop forward. Flavor is a mix of tropical fruit, piney hops, grapefruit, biscuit, toffee, lemon, tangerine, pineapple, wheat bread, light peppery spices, earthy notes with a hint of potpourri, and trailing floral notes which resemble tea leaf. The bitterness is mild and the ABV well covered up, but I wanted more dank fresh hops to slap me with flavor since this is from the Northwest. It's very good this brew, easy drinking and an IPA I'd certainly revisit.
