Served from the bottle into a pilsner glass.

A- Poured a very clear golden color with tons of streaming carbonation with big fluffy bright white head that left dense webbed lacing.

S- Very fresh aroma with big bready, pilsner malt, lemon, grainy, grassy, and floral notes.

T- Very fresh taste with big bready, pilsner malt, lemon, grainy, grassy, and floral notes. Very clean flavor profile with nice hop bite on the finish.

M- Sem-dy finish, high carbonation, and pretty smooth

O- Another great lager from Breakside with tons of flavor, high drinkability, and spot on for the style.

Appearance- Pours up a pretty good head which looks to have some retention. The head is pure cotton white while the body is a pale golden straw that looks a little weaker when held up to the light. Some lacing is left behind.

Nose- Fairly subdued, much like a pilsner. Cereal, grain, and some grassiness. A little bit of earth. A slight sourness that is stronger from the bottle.

Taste- Biscuit, grain, and cereal of the nose start off the flavor profile. Earth and grassiness in the middle. A sweetness (think white grape with a bit of tartness) and some spice on the finish. There's a nice woody bitterness in the finish as well. Nothing amazing flavor wise, but it is simple and solid. It's very representative of the style. The malt is simplistic but works well with the mild bitterness and earth of the noble hops. Nice dry finish that ties the beer together. Some cracker on the malt bill as well.

Mouthfeel- Light bodied with a hint of smoothness and a lot of zip which matches the slightly tart and dry finish.

Drinkability- Very easygoing. The price is reasonable but the style itself isn't interesting enough for me to purchase it again. 4 bucks a bomber.

Overall- Solid beer that is true to the style. A must try if you like Munich Helles lagers.
