Best By Aug. 2014

Cute label art of two smiling anthropomorphic hops

a: Clear copper, finger thick offwhite head receded to thin even surface foam and dense lacing.

s: Pine

t: Caramel malt followed by plenty of piney hop bite. Bitterness lingers on the tongue.

m: Medium with good body and plenty of carbonation tingle.

o: Bitter is the watchword, caramel malt is overwhelmed by it, but it does deliver satisfying Chinookie..

Nice IPA overall, nothing jumps out as memorable. Has a nice malt bill to balance out the surplus of hops. Really easy to drink. Worth a try, yet won't likely seek it out again with a flooded market of stuff I haven't tried~

Hop-laden haze in a toast amber-colored beer. The bone-white head forms a solid crown with a matte finish. Retains exceptionally.

Hunky Chinook hops with big pithy grapefruit and spiny pine notes. Hints of hemp oil, oyster cracker, and black tea bag. Faint whiffs of mint. Very pronounced hop aroma with a lurking toasty grain malt base.

Severely bitter, as Chinook hops tend to be. Bruising with pine, sandalwood, grapefruit whites, peppermint, and astringent herbals. Tea-like maltiness and minerally water are getting lost behind this hop-slaught. The finish is medium-to-long and a little peppery. They write full-bodied on the label, and I get that they mean that this IPA is brimming with residual hop oils clamming up the body. This must be what it feels like when you drink dish soap water. Raucous IPA.
