- best by july 14. lot #e57. hopped 7x, 5 different varieties.

A: Dirty orange, dense clarity, thin beige head is slight on hold, weak on lacing. Tingy beige micro-effervesce creeps up along the glass walls.

S: Hints of pineapple-orange, fresh orange peel, some grassiness.

T: Piney-dry pineapple, grassy overtures, spicy orange citric bite. Hints of pear-mango, creamy grassy citrus malt, nice tropical grassiness with pronounced sting of hops on the finish.

M: Creamy maltiness, grassy citric sting of hops with a dry flowery hop coating on the tongue.

O: Overall the hops live up to thier end of the deal. The malt base is creamy, full, nice mixture of hop variety, tropical grassy-pine, with nice varying degrees of fresh and dry nature. The alcohol is warm and comforting, a nice fall winter taking.

12 oz.

Pours a deep honey amber, off-white lacing for a head.

Smells of rich caramel malts and citrus and floral hops. Some apple sweetness too.

Tastes of mildly bitter piney hops and caramel malts with honey and apple sweetness. Some citrus tartness as well.

Medium to full body with a light tingly carbonation on the tongue accompanied by a slight alcohol sting and a noticeable warmth going down.

A very good strong IPA, slightly boozy feeling, great flavor and aroma. Could stand to mask its potency a bit more and maybe have a bit more body, but otherwise well worth having. Could become a local favorite.

A-cloudy light orange with a stable thin head

S-extremely strong scent of orange and bitterness. there's a strong spice to it as well. it tingles the nose as much as any IPA can.

T-comes in with a mouth puckering bitterness. there's a strong hit of spicy citrus. this one hits you hard, similar to my first dance with hoptimum. it has an aged herbal aspect to it as well. the after-taste focuses on the herbs with a lasting effect of booze. this hits the head fast.

M-bitter. medium creamy carbonation with a dry finish

O-it doesn't quite have the complexity or balance of a truly great IPA, but it does pack the punch of any hop bomb. it's good for the lower cost, and I recommend this to any hop head out there.
