Standard bar and grill setup - booths, tables, 3 sided bar in the center of the space against the back wall. Long tap list - probably about 40 beers. Mix of national and regional/local breweries. Good variety, although seems like mostly "standard" beers, not many special or limited releases like some top beer bars would have. Menu of pizza, cheese steaks, burger. Service was just okay

Great selection of craft beers from across the country. They could of offered more of the local brews.

The first (I believe) of the Duckworth's chain (guess it can be called that now, with one in Huntersville and two in Charlotte - a third coming to downtown Charlotte as well). This is the smallest of the bunch, and though it features a nice selection of drafts, it's not the beer mecca the other bars are. Still - great food and good beers.

Stopped in here to tick a brew they had on tap that would have saved me from driving to the brewery to try. Location is very easy to spot from the road with a nice large black and white sign right on the highway. There is also a pretty nice tap list going on here. I have been kind of spoiled as I visit the Charlotte location a lot and this one doesn't have anywhere near as many taps, but there is still a pretty good selection. A few of the tap handles are occupied by macros as well here. Atmosphere was similar to the Charlotte location, allbeit a little smaller. This location is worth stopping into if you are in the area for sure. Especially since there is nothing else really around the area as far as craft brew.

Stopped here for dinner on my way to Charlotte for business. Next to Cost Plus, so swung by after hitting the store. Walking in, the place is actually much smaller than expected. The bar is in the center. A small horseshoe-shaped bar. The bartenders were not all that attentive, as I didn't get any help for a bit, and it wasn't all that busy. I ordered their cheese steak sandwich with homemade chips. I hear that's what they are known for, but I wasn't all that impressed. It was a pretty average cheese steak. Their tap list was very nice. Most notably, they had 2 of the bigger Terrapin brews on tap: Monk's Revenge and Gamma Ray. Also had some Stone, Great Divide, and a decent Belgian list. Good locals represented with Red Oak, Sweetwater, Green Man, Catawba, etc. All-in-all, a decent place for beer and a bite to eat. Glad I stopped.

I have been to Duckworth's many times, most recently May 17th. Duckworth's is no longer a secret to beer lover's. Though it has had a wide selection of draft beer for years, the expansion to 40 taps has created a smorgasborg of beer varieties. The selection comes from a combination of local, national craft and specialty and regional brewers. They also have a fine selection of bottled beers. Each month a few are rotated out to make new for new possibilities. Mondays and Tuesdays they offer $2 pints of most of their draft beers.
The food is typical for a bar and grill though the menu is a bit more substantive. They are known primarily for their cheeesesteaks, they were formerly Duckworth's Cheesesteakery, but they have pizzas, salads, and entrees as well. Their fries from fresh cut potatoes are excellent.
The atmosphere is mediocre and wait staff average but their beer and food is a value.
