A: Pours a relatively clear deep golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate amounts of copper highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a large half finger thick cap in the center of the glass surrounded by a mottled thick film and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of caramel and toasted malts with moderate aromas of herbal, tropical/mango, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted and caramel malts with a hint of sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of herbal, tropical/mango, and citrus/grapefruit pith hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp.

O: A pretty decent sessionable pale ale - I wish the tropical fruit flavors were a little stronger than the herbal ones but very easy to drink.

Pour is a deep, clear amber with a durable off-white head.
Very nice aroma reflects a mix of malts and fruity hops that are also slightly herbal.
Brewery says "A bold tropically hopped spring pale ale ... with a little bite and lower ABV". The beer is indeed nicely bold and hoppy for an ale at 4.5%.
Medium, lightly crisp feel.
O: excellent sessionable APA, although the flavor fell short of the promising aroma.
