Went there on a trip off the Disney "campus". Never been to a WOB before so wasn't sure what to expect. Little pricey on the to go beers but I get why they charge that way. Most important needs were met, however: beer was fresh and tasty and the service was outstanding. Mario the bartender knew his shit and helped me find some good locals, which was my goal. Not a lot of people there since it was a Wednesday late morning, but when one of the other bartenders came in and I saw the tacos he ordered, I had my lunch picked out. If you find yourself in Disney World and want some great beer, food, and people who know beer, get the hell off campus and head here. Good stuff and your magic band won't blow your arm off.

Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife and son on a Wednesday. Wide range of beers from all over the country and the world. My son who isn't that much of a beer drinker found a cider that he enjoyed. Cans/bottles are organized by regions/countries so it's easy to "window shop" the coolers from the bar. Really nice selection of Florida beers. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. They have a "craft lunch" until 3 with several items all under 10 bucks. We each had a different item (the flatbread, a burger and a brat) and we were all very satisfied. The place isn't too far from the major Orlando attractions (Disney, Universal) and for the beer lover would make an excellent "vacation from your vacation". I'd heard comments that they were a little pricey but certainly not compared to resort prices. The place isn't that big so I could see it getting a little tight in the evening. Overall this is a great place that I am happy I live near.

The best WOB for picking up allocated stuff, like Lake Mary. Pretty good selection of beers.
You can also share bottles here, this is the only one.
Great food too.

This is a pretty cool place. Great bar, very friendly staff, and a decent selection of taps (maybe 15-20 rotating crafts). The kind of place where they change things around often enough that you never know quite what you're going to find when you go in. Their bottle selection is immense, and if you can't find something you like... you're doing it wrong. The food menu is limited but decent, and my only small complaint is that one of the lines for a tap wasn't cleaned properly and I got some residual flavor from the last beer on my order (it was pretty obvious... the previous beer was Stone's Chai Russian Stout... even the barkeep went 'hmm'). So... good place, and I'd stop in again.

This review is for the WOB in Dr. Phillips and Lake Mary as they are very similar and Lake Mary hasn't been added yet
I didnt have anything to eat so my review/notes will apply mostly to the beer selection which in my opinion is all that really matters otherwise
Check the cases before you order bottles. Both locations bottle menus were incomplete and didn't reflect what was actually in the case. I understand it would be difficult to maintain this menu but do yourself a favor and take a look. Several cans & bottles from CCB, terrapin and weyerbacher were in the case but not on the menu. There is also a new arrivals section in the coolers which didn't appear on the menu.
In terms of the actual selection, its huge. However, probably half of their bottles are imports of which the vast majority of I had never heard of. I mean, they had beers from Turkey and Isreal. Do they drink beer in Israel? As for domestics, the highlights mostly consisted of bottles like FIS, 2 Hearted, Jai Alai. Overall its a solid place but don't expect to be blown away.
Lastly, CCB is hit or miss in Orlando and surrounding areas. Don't expect to stop in at a random restaurant and find it. If you're hunting CCB call ahead.

A large, laid back, fairly clean, nIce patio,
Q everything is fairly good and fresh. Taps and lines seemed clean.
S bartenders are fair... Not very knowledgable about all types of beer or what glasses to use.
S good selection of Florida regulars. They may get some special stuff every once in a while.
V a title above average in pricing, but normal for the area.
Overall this place is fairly good. Best place in the area at least. Redlight redlight is pretty far away, but this is a good place to hang out and drink in dr Phillips.

I live around the corner from this location and have been several times. I do not frequent World of Beer but I know that if there is a beer that I can't find in the Orlando area I can probably get it here. Not only do they have a great selection of bottles and taps but will sell bottles to go at retail pricing. IF you are in the area and looking for a very broad selection this is the place for you.

I've been to this World Of Beer twice. The first time it was so packed we barely had room to stand. Nonetheless, the bartenders were very attentive and I was able to get whatever I wanted quickly. The second time I went for Yappy Hour. The staff was great and our waitress not only knew about beer but was always around when there were any empty glasses.

This is a nice clean bar with a huge selection of bottles and draft beer. The serve all their beers in the correct glass and are pretty knowledgeable on the beer they have. Unfortunately when it gets crowded it can take a long time to get a drink. Also it is a tad pricey but not too horrendous. A great place to go to with a buddy or two and just sit and talk or watch sports, also you can order food and have them bring it to you in the bar which is nice. The crowd is nice too, no stink eye's or anything like that.

I stopped here on a recent trip to orlando. It was recommended by a friend and I was able to catch a world series game there. Overall it had a frat bar feel to it. A long serpentine bar, some tables in the back with tv's all over the place. I suspect it would be a good place to watch Sunday football.
Overall the beer selection was very good. I think there were 300 bottles and close to 100 taps. Lots of stuff I can't get in NY. Bells, Terrapin. Also a lot of unique and one-off bottles. The staff was pretty knowledgable and would recommend beers based on what you like.
There's not food there but you can order from any one of a number of places (including Morton's Steakhouse) and they'll deliver right to you.
A must if you're' in Orlando.

The beer selection was pretty good.
The music was more suited for a late night rave techno hip-hop whatever club. The old man next to me got kicked out because he made a racial comment to the manager about the music. I just told him that it sucked and he claimed that he couldnt change it because it was programmed and piped into the place. It was offensive and not what I would choose to play for craft beer lovers. WOB seemed to be catering to the college crowd. Anyway, I would like to try another WOB in another town.
Cheers BigEars!

I stopped in here on the first leg of our Orlando vacation. This is literally right down the street from Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure.
Atmosphere: Very contemporary bar vibe, with tons of tables, bar space, about 20-30 taps, low lighting, and a stage for live music. Personally, I didn't dig the whole live music thing because of the noise level. My wife and I had just been on the road for 12 hours and just wanted some peace, quiet, and good beer... but that's just me.
Quality: While I was disappointed that they only had two Cigar City selections (Jai Alai and Maduro), they did have some really nice stuff, including locals such as Swamp Head and Florida Brewing Co.
Service: The waitress didn't know much about the beer other than what sold the best, however, she waited on us very attentively and was always there whenever our drinks were getting low.
Selection: Like I stated before, lots of taps and bottles to pick from from all parts of the US... and the world.
Value: I think the prices were fair and about like they should be for that area of the US.
NOTE: This is a bar 100%, therefore food is not served. However, the owners are really cool with, and even encourage, people to bring in food from surrounding businesses. My recommendation: Go to TooJay's Deli next door. You won't be sorry!

Atmosphere - the atmosphere is pretty hip and contemporary. The noise level was bustling and it was also quite busy in this new World of Beer.
Quality - there are some fairly hard to find beers here, but nothing that you couldn't find at a Knightly Spirits. I would like to have had some harder to find beers to choose from.
Service - the waitresses there are really overworked. They were very nice, but the amount of orders and patrons to service lengthened the amount of time it took to get a beer.
Selection - as I mentioned before, pretty much anything you would want to order at Knightly Spirits, you could also get here. World of Beer actually had a few beers available that I couldn't find at Knightly Spirits.
Value - the beers were fairly expensive, but not outrageously so.

This one is only about a mile from International Drive (the tourist hot spot) on Turkey Lake.
This WOB is located conveniently close to the tourist part of Orlando. It has a much larger indoor seating capacity than the WOB near the University of Central Florida.
The selection is huge. Around 30 taps and a huge book of bottles. The staff is nice, and they can give you some advice and knowledge about beers, but it's evident most of what they offer is retained from training and not their own passion of craft beers.
The one time I went it was pretty busy, but I didn't have too much trouble finding a place to sit, however, it looks like our server was completely overworked as she had 30+ people in her section. This resulted in the service being slower than you would like.
Anyone staying on the west side of Orlando should give this place a try if they are looking for somewhere within a cab-drive to get some good beer.

Cool place to try beers. It was a bit on the price side. They dont server food but they do offer a delivery menu from places around it. Unfortunately the server did not tell us this until when we were about to leave. Maybe next time. Five Guys and Beer mmmm.
Lets see the important stuff. I tried Delerium Tremens which kind of reminded me of Delsym cough syrup. I tried Piraat which was good but had an overpowering alcohol taste to it. I tried Joker Ace which was pretty dry but good, however I would prefer Woodchuck or Strongbow to it. I also sampled Midas Touch and have hence fell in love with Dogfish Head. They make most excellent beers. Ooooh yeah I had St. Bernardus Apt12 on draught and all I can say about that is WOW. I tried a bunch of other things that I don't remember. I sip here and there. Overall I had a great time. I definitely want to go back.
